DOES FIT ST1500SF
At first I did not think it would work. BUT, after taking old head off, voila. Use 9/16 or 14mm DEEP socket to remove the extended nut. Leave base washer in place. Slide new unit on shaft and use INCLUDED nut to fasten. Now you need either 1/2" or 13mm socket to tighten. (The old nut will not work, so put it in your miscellaneous nut pile. Have not used except to see that it works. Typical usage for me is to spend one day every couple of weeks and use up all three batteries I have, so a couple of hours. Two hundred yards of driveway edging, three hundred yards of fence line where the mower won't reach. Could go to five stars after seeing it holds up.

Replacement for 'Kobalt' weedeater
Thank you Amazon for this find! Able to use this one piece string/bumper for our Kobalt cordless weedeater. It was worth the price(low), and quick delivery. Very easy to replace. Weedeater is working wonderfully, and seems to be keeping up with heavy usage.

Works much better than the original head on my ST1500SF
This head works so much better than the one that come on the trimmer when I bought it. From the day it was new, it was always difficult to get the line to pay out. This one come out with one moderate tap and it's very easy to install new line on it. My only reservation is that I wonder how long it will continue to work flawlessly which is why I only gave 4 starts on durability.

This manufacturer is a life saver it offers parts the original manufacturer Kobalt does not supply these parts and wants you to buy a complete 24v weed eater

Super! I attached the Erbauer EGT18LI, they match perfectly, they are identical to the one from EGO. I didn't expect to find this detail (considering that the Erbauer company does not sell parts for its products).

EGO 15-Inch String Trimmer Head with Pre-Wound
This was the right part for my ego 15 inch trimmer.It was very easy (simple) to install took about five minutes.The lady at EGO parts department was very helpful and even told me to order on AmazonIt is as good if not better than the original part.

Release.
Quick release on the trimmer. Not exactly what I was expecting for feeding the string. You have to open load instead of straight through feeding while turning the head. Different but works.
