I love the fact that my pony can come out the top because it feels like the hat fits closer to my head which keeps me warmer. My only complaint would be the one size fits all. My head is smaller than average and there seems to be an excess of material that bunches up. I still fell it's warmer than my hats that don't let my pony fly so to speak.

This is cute and very warm hat for girls with long hair. Seems well made and very comfortable. The material is soft and I am pleased

I pulled this out of the packaging to find a TINY little hole up top, and was immediately disappointed that this was one of those ponytail hats where I'd have to undo my bun or ponytail to fit it through. I jammed it on to test and was pleasantly surprised that my bun popped right out and the hat was big enough that even with my giant head and hair big enough for a ton of secrets, it's very slouchy and has a ton of room (pictured with the bottom part flipped over). I can tell it's going to be really warm too!

Bought this for a cheerleader who needed to wear a high pony but it was getting COLD out. Unfortunately, this arrived after the final game, so it didn't get used. And it isn't great as a regular winter hat since the hole in the top does let heat out if you don't have a high pony. Looking forward to having it on hand for the next cheer season as it is cute, looks well made, and feels warm when we tested it out.

This is a really cute stocking cap. It's a thicker material and the hole where the ponytail goes is flexibly enough to get the hair through, but not so stretchy that it leaves a large hole around the ponytail. It's not lined (I wish it was) but it's still warm and cozy. I would buy again!

This still doesn’t cover my ears! I have long hair, and a lot of it. I wear my hair up every day, and in the winter I have to because otherwise it’d get tangled in my jacket, and blown around, wet with snow, etc. — but when I try to wear a hat, my hair bun pushes the hat up a bit beyond the top of my head, meaning my ears get left out in the cold. This is the reason I wanted a hat with a hole in the top (which sounds crazy, but hold your judgment — actually, you’re apparently shopping for one too!).The GOOD:- the “bun hole” works, and my hair does seem to plug up the whole well, so there’s no draft happening up there :)- color is vibrant (yellow)- material is soft enough?The BAD:- IT DOES NOT. Cover. My. EARS. It’s STILL TOO SHORT/SHALLOW! Why make a hat that leaves ones ears exposed?! How about make it so those who want to leave their ears out, can cuff up the ‘brim’, but the rest of us can keep our ears?!- the knit is a little loose, lets some wind through- I’m contradicting my saying it was soft enough earlier, but it is a little scratchy. Still, I wasn’t expecting miracles at this price.BOTTOM LINE: This hat actually outperforms my fears/expectations for a relatively inexpensive hat bought off Amazon... in every way except for THE MOST IMPORTANT PART: it’s too. Dang. Small.
