My partner is wheelchair bound and has had the regular bottle without the pipe for years and I found this and it’s made things so much easier, no more pushing on the bottle so it doesn’t spill. This one helps him a bit more privacy, as he can use it though his shorts. Doesn’t spill definitely worth the money

It came already assembled & is for unisex usage, plus it's own cleaning system too. The bottle is opaque but you can see the contents easily it has a volume gauge on the sides for flat & turned up reading the only problem is is only in mls and not pints too, which we understand. The volume is good & if needed a larger volumed bottle is available if needed. The bottle has a separate lid & the lid with the hose & collecting cup attached the cup dose have a tenancy to detach slowly so it should be checked each time it's emptied & washed out or leaks will occur, not nice. The design is brilliant & well thought out the connecting hose is see through so you can easily check the colour if required, it's cost for the whole system is very good and works well but the hose most be kept below the collection cup or the user might get wet.

My partner is using it following left side weakness from stroke. He is not incontinent, but using other urine bottles - including disposable ones was very difficult for him to manage with one hand. That would lead to accidents which embarrassed and frustrated him a lot. The size, shape and light weight of this urine bottle is perfect for him. He is mostly bed bound, so getting a proper angle is easy because of the funnell shape of the opening and a handle to position correctly. This certainly maintains his dignity. We even took it to hospital when he was admitted and the ward staff loved it too. Giving 4* because I could not clean it daily when he was in hospital and I couldn't visit him. Mould builds up in the tube - quite understandable. It is difficult to clean the mould in the tube because of the ridges. Rest of the bottle is easy ro clean and maintain. Just need to ensure cleaning it regularly. So, probably not the products fault. I will buy more once he is home.

Exactly what I needed

Good product and system but 2 major design faults as far as I'm concerned. 1- as a bedridden lady I have to pull the pipe over my leg and down to the point of 'delivery' this means the pipe bends at the point where it's fitted into the blue collection cup. As the pipe isn't very strong this means it will split and cause leaks, and it also mans the 'cup' can only hold a limited amount. 2- ( excuse me for being personal but this product is personal so here goes ) The shaped part for ladies doesn't really fit very easily so it has come off and caused spillage a few times, but worse than that the edges are SHARP and they hurt , it has to be held snugly to do it's job but when you do it's extremely uncomfortable. Could the manufacturer make the edges more rounded ? So in conclusion I think it's a marvelous device for men, but not really that good for ladies , I now use something else at the ' coalface' and pour it in the pipe because I like that I can put a lid on and the smell is contained . Also the hook means you always know where it is.

Being disabled I find this bottle perfect. I could not get to the toilet in time without it.

This little guy works perfectly for me. It is built well and makes the most sense if you need something splash-proof and portable. I suggest 4oz (118ml) of water with a shot of bleach be kept in it when you set up for the day or night. So when you empty and rinse it add the water and bleach and leave it in for your use throughout the day. It just keeps the container fresh and odorless.

Would have been nice to receive a manual for how to use.
