When I received the product it was way too hat to stand outside and install. I waited and after a couple months, I attempted to install. I got the product on and the cover fell off. I was out of the refund period, but I contacted the seller and they sent a new one. Received it 2 days ago, installed it today, and it is perfect! A little short on the ends but looks alright

Easy to install. Priced way cheaper than the parts store for the same item.

They did not pay attention to the center rod that goes into the tailgate it’s molded super badly. You get all your clips in and it’s bulging in the middle. Then the clips snap when you try to take it off. I used toe nail clippers to clean that part up but some clips already snapped. Cheap material. Low quality control for their cast/mold injection point.

My expectations were of a so-so but acceptable replacement part. Very pleased this is at least as good - maybe better - than factory original. Went on perfectly, fit perfectly, very substantial. Looks great. Happy buyer.

I recently replaced the tailgate on my F150 2006 pickup. I was able to buy a new metal shell at a good price off another site -- came primered in black and so all I had to do was paint and topcoat it, which I did with spray cans, and then transfer or replace the hardware and emblems. Turns out, the old tailgate had already had substantial bodywork and the long plastic cap had been off and on a few times. In fact, it was pretty loose. I pried it off with a long screwdriver and found a lot of the underside built-in bodywork clips were so broken or badly bent, they wouldn't fit any more. I ordered this to replace it -- the description says it's an exact match for my truck. It went on easily -- all new clips underneath which were part of the molding process. I used a rubber mallet to tap it into place, starting in the middle, and only then did I realize the fitment problem. Sadly, the cap is 1/2-inch short on each end. By the time I discovered that, I realized that if I wanted to return it, I'd probably break a lot of clips getting it off. It doesn't look too bad on, and apart from being short, it's a good tight fit. How did they get the measurements so far off?? The product description says it's an exact match for my vehicle. The plastic they used is thinner than the OEM cap, but it is textured and looks right. Overall, it's does the job and looks good, but getting the length off by an inch is just wrong. A star off, even though I'm reasonably pleased with the final result.
