I am highly impressed so far with this device! I haven't had a chance to try out the lightning feature yet, but I'm hoping to soon. Well built and functions nicely!

Good product and easy to use..

I bought this trigger for my birthday, but didn't open it up until my birthday. Upon receiving it, I discovered through initial setup that the battery would not charge. The only way the unit would operate was if it were connected to a charging USB cable. So I contacted Amazon, only to learn that the "return window had expired". Amazon did provide a link to contact the seller, which I did. The seller never bothered to respond. I went to the manufacturer's web page and opened a problem ticket. The manufacturer did respond, although they only responded via one email per day, so it took several days to troubleshoot. Once we did identify the problem, I tried to repair the item. That failed, so I asked them for a repair or replacement. They said the best they could do was offer me a 40% discount if I purchased another unit. I didn't really feel like buying another unit which might also be defective. So I tried again to work with Amazon, only to have a nice conversation with their customer service robot voice that told me that it, being a robot voice, could not help me.Fairness followup: I persisted until I got to chat with a real human, and that person was very helpful, allowing me to return the item for a refund. Thanks very much for that! Amazon ultimately came through, despite the manufacturer's poor customer service.

I purchased this to replace my older motion senor trigger, how was greatly disappointed about arrival. Despite the box saying "everything is already in the unit, ready to use", it is not. to be able to use the laser trigger you need to purchase a separate laser source. I tried a regular laser pointer as the instructions indicated, how ever I still need to come up with mine own way of how to mount the pointer & keep it on. I reach out to the manufacturer directly for suggestion & after about week of waiting, & at the time I type this,, still no response. Once I worked out my own mount & pick a stronger laser source the trigger it self work beautify. I am more disappointed in the manufacture for no mentioning the laser was sold separately & their customer service, than I am with the performance of the trigger

Have yet to use all the settings, but those I have used are just what the description conveyed for me.

Great trigger that allows infinite creativity and adds such a variety of images you can achieve that went possible before. Used the lighting mode as a bonus as this was bought for sound and laser trigger and got some great images by this detecting the lightning then triggered the camera. Thanks miops!

Got this for lightening movement and sound triggering. The cheap cable that came for my Canon R5 with it wasn't working. I got a better quality cable so I could try. I like the integrate and exchangeable Lipo. Most functions work fine with the iphone app of which there are plenty. Some function like HDR sequences may need some adjustments for my camera as the first image often doesn't trigger. Fortunately, my camera has those function already integrated. Support asked for an image of the cable and then ask me if it doesn't work which is the reason I contacted them in the first place. Now there is silence. Pretty sure there is no support just a bouncer bot. In any case, just get a better quality camera cable as the supplied cable, even if it is working, won't securely lock to the camera port. For the price they could make more of an effort to provide a higher quality product.
