Shur-Line 2006649 7-Inch Premium Pad Painter

I started painting with another pad (blue in color) from a big box store, which soon began unraveling along the edges, leaving inch long bits of string in the paint film - Grrrr! I've used Shur-Line in the past so ordered one. Process: I rinsed it thoroughly before using to remove any fuzz. Applied paint along about 10 feet of trim with a fine roller and quickly smoothed the paint with the pad without stopping - resulting surface was smooth and without the telltale start/stop marks that can be a problem. I used the same process to paint about 160 feet of 6" x 16' base prior to installing. Found that I could roll on paint for the entire 16 feet then drag along the pad for the entire length without any additional wetting of the pad with paint - resulting in a full length, smooth surface with no start/stop marks. Sure-Line is obviously better made than the similar priced pad I started with.

I used these for General Finish High Performance Waterbased Finish. You need to wash them first to remove any loose bristles. You may also want to cover them with an old nylon to catch any additional loose bristles. They work great. I applied 6-7 coats, and am very pleased with the results.

This pad was really great for doing flat doors. It left the same finish as when I do it with a fine brush, but it was much faster and easier to be consistent with. I did buy the mini one to do the side of the doors though. The big pad will be too much and you'll have overlap marks unless you use the small one.

Use this to apply granite sealer to my counters. Made the process much easier. One problem, though, is that after using it for awhile, the pad kept coming out of the pad holder.

with extension pole worked but very hard to keep paint on without drips everywhere. i was painting up about 25ft and very difficult. i did get the job done but had extra clean up from drips. almost impossible at that height. I dont blame product. worked as described

I paint my walls and floors a lot and I could not do without this product. Just screw a wooden or plastic handle into it and go to town! It literally cuts your painting time into at least 3/4 less than before. I keep a bunch of these on hand just in case at all times.

I have been using pads for 20 year+ and love using them. Roller are good, but the splattering sucks. With the pads and with a little practice you can paint just as fast and have the paint on the walls and not you and the floor.

I should have listened to the reviewer who said it was a different brand. I know this line was being disconnected, but I needed the 9". So, this one has ridges and fell apart after a few strokes. I'm painting my house and find the real Shur L to be great. THIS pro edge is terrible. Do not buy.

Usualmente no doy valoración a los productos que adquiero sin antes usarlos. Excelente herramienta para pintar; su uso lo hace muy fácil ademas de que abarca uno mas secciones de pared a pintar y lo mejor que no se dejan las cerdas como lo hacen las brochas o los rodillos, es decir, queda muy liso y su terminación es buena; solo hay que considerar no recargar demasiado para evitar escurrir las paredes.

What can one really say, it doesn't leave hairs everywhere and just works!

No hay nads mejor y más eficaz para pintar, comprenlo definitivamente si van a pintar grandes superficies o interiores lisos, lo que me hubiera tomado dos días en pintar, lo hice en 4 horas.
