cool and catchy

I bought this CD in Tokyo. A jazz fanatic friend of mine found it too sterile, but I love the cooler-than-cool, laid back precision of the playing. I also happen to be a Lupin III fan -- the "Zenigata March" wonderfully captures the menancholic honor of Lupin's ever-faithful foil, and "Fire Treasure," although not the best version I've heard, catches both sides of Lupin's almost quixotic quest after some ultimate treasure.

Mellow Jazz and sweet melodies ...

If you like the Lupin Series and / or the Punch the Monkey CDs (which are modern remixes of the Music of that famous Anime) AND you like jazz, then this is for you. Even if you do not know the series, you will injoy it ... I LOVE it .. this is what I would love to hear in a mellow jazzbar while having a drink ... even better is the succesor Volume 2 which has english vocals to some of the songs. Very recommended

Avevo adocchiato questo CD più di un anno fa e l'avevo parcheggiato tra i miei prossimi acquisti nel carrello di amazon. Appena il prezzo è sceso (ha toccato anche punte di 80 euro), l'ho acquistato subito. Cosa dirVi.... sublime, meraviglioso, intenso, da brividi!
