If I could give zero stars I would. DO NOT order this mat. It seems from other reviews that it's pot luck whether you receive a real coir mat or a cheap pad. The mat I received it a grainy bad quality photo of a coir mat printed on a cheap cushion with a backing that will fall apart after a week. I wish I took a photo to show, but it was literally a photograph, you could see the coir fibers in the picture. I requested a refund and was told they would only refund me 30% because it "would cast that much to return the mat to them". I said that was unacceptable and they refunded me the price of the mat minus sipping.

EDIT 07/22/2017: I have had this doormat for about 10 months now and it has faded a lot. The owls are still visible but not clearly like on the product picture anymore. Of course, it is a doormat, it is exposed to all kinds of things and it is expected to fade over time. It still serves the purpose of a doormat and the quality of the product is very decent. I would buy this doormat again if I wanted the same design, but I am someone who needs to redecorate quite often so it does not bother me that the owls have faded.Original review: This doormat is so cute! I love owls!I have had this doormat for 4 months now, it's been through the harsh Buffalo winter and it is still looking great despite the ungodly amounts of ice melt my apartment complex just throws everywhere.

We ordered two mats of the same type with different logos printed on them and loved them until they aged a few months and started looking old. Ten months after installing them, they are now dark and unattractive to the point of us thinking we need to replace them. They're still functional as door mats, however the material does shed a little. In hindsight, I think we would opt for a different material that would look good for more than a few months.

This is not the rug in the picture. It is a soft carpet like bath mat almost. It's not what was in the photos and I am not happy with this at all. I will be requesting a refund very soon.

Quality Product! A Large Doormat that is a great size and weight for our front door. We even had an epic thunderstorm recently and it didn't move an inch, and also dried quite quickly. My only wish is that the colors were a little more pronounced verses the rest of the rug (we bought the one with the b&w "hello" written in cursive) as it blends into the rest of the rug a bit too much. Note: One great tip I read from amother review is to make sure you open the package over a large garbage can or outside. The little carpet fibers shed a fair amount in the package (not effecting rug whatsoever) and can easily get all over the place if you're not careful!

Instead of its normal purpose, I’m using this in front of the kitty litter box for my cats to actually wipe their paws.The mat is rough so I wouldn’t want to step on it barefoot but they love it. They knead it and it holds sand very well. It’s easy to vacuum and holding up great to cat paws and claws a few times a day, so it’d be completely fine as a doormat!

As cat owners we wanted to have something that would be to the point, and this mat did the job. We did need to secure it to our porch for two reasons, one to make sure it didn't walk off with the help of someone, and two, it is on a slight raise and it possibly could move when my wife rolled her wheelchair up the rise using just her feet.We bought a total of three door mats, all different, and gave one as a xmas gift, the other will be at our back door.

In addition to finding a rug for my front door, I was delighted to receive this adorable bicycle design sturdy mat for my back door as well. I love the colors,as they perfectly match all the accessories in my room. All and all I would say it was a clean sweep,having a rug for the back and front door! I would recommend this both colorful, and practical rug for foot traffic....just shake it and go!
