Buy Kumar and Clarks Clinical Medicine in by (ISBN: 0000702078697) from desertcart's Book Store. Everyday low prices and free delivery on eligible orders. Review: I already had Davidson (older edition) , so I was looking for an alternative (other than Harrsion's , for obvious reasons.). This book is universally recognised , so there's no problem regarding authorative power of the text. I tried to compare this book with Davidson's and found some pros and cons. Pros: - Physiology of respective system is explained explained excellently at the start of the chapter. - Superb diagrams. - In certain diseases , pathogenesis/pathophysiology given is better as compared to Davidson's. - Not filled with way too much boxes like Davidson's. - The focus on dosage , drug regimen is sometimes better than Davidson's in case of certain diseases. (Especially infections.) Cons: - Epidemiological data concerning India is missing , epidemiological data of UK is mostly given. - Some boxes, like for differential diagnoses are missing , which are given liberally in Davidson's. - Davidson's is better if you want to go through a disease for the first time in very less time. (Like just before a lecture or ward.) Conclusion: If you love to read , don't like pages filled with boxes , get Kumar and Clark's , you'll definitely not regret it. :) Review: Very informative.. if you love to read books and want a paragraph story like telling of diseases then this book will be great for you..

it gives medicine a different kind of taste, more into patient experience rather than summarising nature of harrison. would recommend for every physiciian to go through once.

Book was delivered in a beautiful condition..No scratches and all....The writing is very simple and it's like you are in a class itself listening to your professor.
