Perfect family co-op game
My 6 yr old loves board games and requested a game that we could play as a team (he saw mommy and daddy playing Defenders of the Realm and was very eager to learn, but it was too complex). Andor is similar to Defenders, but perfect for a younger player. Love the tasks and the characters. Love the different components and how it's not too easy to win. It was fun for the adults in the family, and of course my 6yr old wont stop requesting it! I just wish we could add more players.

Good Introductory cooperative fantasy game for younger children
Fun cooperative game for 5 and 8 year old sons to play with us. We read through the rule book to get the gist of the game play mechanics and then used it as a reference. Game seemed fairly easy until we got to the final stage (rescuing the wolf cubs in the mines) where the challenge intensified because instead of only moving 1 space, the dragon could move 1-3 spaces closer to the town. It was still manageable, but was nice for my wife and I, who enjoy more challenging board games. We only played through the introductory game, but there are several more game setups that provide additional levels of challenge. The game does have decent replay-ability because the tasks can vary game to game, and the fog tokens are randomly placed on the board so each set-up is different. Overall engaging game for a younger crowd, but would not be challenging enough for our older children (10 and 13).

Great to get my child into fantasy role play
I love staying in and playing board games with my daughter on snowy or rainy days. She loves this game and seeing her smile is worth the cost. She picked it up quickly and we had a great afternoon playing together.

Perfect gift for a family that likes gaming
My kids love to game, but most dungeon crawlers or other high fantasy games are too long or too complicated for them to have a lot of fun. This is the perfect game for kids in elementary school and their parents. It’s fun and engaging while only taking about 45 minutes to play. Having the multiple scenarios is a great way to keep it fresh too.

A bit complicated
This game sounded like fun -- one that my seven-year-old grandson and I would enjoy. There are so many pieces, so many different characters, so many rules... I'm afraid we gave up on it. Games are supposed to be fun, and this one requires too much work for us.Serious gamers, my apologies. I'm sure it's fun and easy for you.

A fun family game
My kids and I have had so much fun with this one. The setting is different than what they normally play and I'm hoping it will be a decent stepping stone to some D&D.

A thematic co-op game for family
I picked this up just because of the heroic theme and co-op nature, as my kids are co-op fans (aka sore losers if we play competitive games). The game is well-produced with sturdy standee and board and tokens...and I like it have both male and female standees for the same character so you can pick the one you like. About the gameplay it's fun but i must say it would take some time to learn the rules because of all those little details...but it's the detail which makes the whole thing feel thematic (like the first campaign you need to carry an injured bird back to base camp for doctor).Just one thing that i would like to complain: could we have smaller game box? (at least it's not a square one, but a Splendor-sized box can already hold all stuffs very well)Anyway, i am happy with the purchase!

Great game for kids
My 9 year old and his cousin love the game. Played it 5 times in a row. They can’t get enough. It also provides enough that adults can enjoy it too
