It's Minimum 32+ inches long & 28+ inches wide. The plus sign means the minimum range of each side. Leather hides vary by animal size, so we provide the min range of each width or length.

Q: is this good to make boots or moccasins?

1. Tandy Leather has a weight/thickness/iron chart with recommendations for various projects. I input 'leather thickness chart' and Google found it for me. 2. I ripped apart a pair of old boots not worth repairing and salvaged the upper, 1.55 to 1.45 mm. They were lined with faux suede cloth. The foot cover part was about the same. You will need to sole your mocs. with a 10 to 12 oz. leather or a rubber sole unless they will be strictly carpet shoes.
