Not black but a muted grey
This eyeshadow had no pigment at all. I think it was defective as I’ve purchased Sasha products before abd they were highly pigmented. I had to return the item.

I wish that I could give a zero star rating. This shade is beautiful- too bad I can't use it. It arrived damaged, with blue powder everywhere! More care should really be taken when preparing and shipping a fragile product like eyeshadow. VERY disappointing.
