Q: What country was the dog bed made in?

Just checked tags, made in the USA.

Q: What size do you suggest for a 90 pound lab that likes to stretch out?

I have two of these beds for my past lab and current lab in the 52" size. The second one I purchased I tried to go smaller with the 40" and had to send it back because it's significantly smaller than the 52". Go with the 52".

Q: The description states the bed is machine washable, but many reviews complain that it's difficult to clean. Can't you toss it all in the wash?

I have a sheet I tuck in all the way around the inside and drape over the sides. Then I have a comfy blanket in the bed itself over the sheet. I really have no need to wash the bed with the sheet and blanket in there. My dog hasn’t had accidents or thrown up or anything in it. I just wash the bedding I put in there. If yours has accidents maybe you could line it with a plastic sheet cut to size like one would for a child, and then a regular sheet over that? It’s really easy to tuck anything in all around the bed.

Q: Is there a zipper on the 40" bed, and if so, which fabric is it on?

We have a 40" bed. It has zippers hidden in the inside seam.
