B. toys – Alphabet Learning Blocks for Babies & Toddlers – 26 Soft Squeezable ABC Blocks with Textured Animals – Educational Toys for Sensory Play, Bath Time & Early Development – 6+ Months

I fully admit that I bought these blocks for my 7 month old baby girl because I wanted them! Although the price seems pretty steep, they are incredibly cool...with many unique shapes with so many building possibilities! I am a designer so that's probably why they appealed to me, with their unusual arty colour palate and architectural elements (columns and arches). The B. (Battat) company does a great job of making toys with beautiful bright colours that are still easy on the eyes...and look great even sitting out in the living room. Also they demonstrate a very appealing socially concious attitude, using recycled packaging, soy based inks, and even donating to a children's charity with each toy purchased. This toy came with an interesting little booklet of funny children's quotes...with a heading for each: B. Priceless, B. Observant, B. Wise, B. Experimental, B. Curious...etc. It was a nice added touch! Now back to the blocks: I'm sure that a toddler or young child would love to build creative structures with these blocks, but since my baby is still so young I can't confirm that...although I've had a lot of fun building little temple façades! But as a toy for a baby (who lets face it is very likely going to do nothing but chew on them for the next 6 months to a year!) they are also wonderful, since they are very safe with no phthalates and are BPA free. They have no weird smell like some rubber/plastic toys and they are squishy and squeaky. I can imagine that they will be nice to have lying around the house for the next few years...if you stepped on one it wouldn't hurt at all, unlike the traditional wood alphabet blocks! There is a block for each letter of the alphabet with a corresponding animal. Some that you would expect...Z for zebra, E for elephant, C for cow. But there are also more unusual animals like a koala bear, penguin, lobster, dolphin, quail, vulture, jaguar...unicorn! The animal relief carvings are so much cuter in person than they look in the pictures! The animals are seen from different angles on each side of the block and some even have additional characters like the bears with a beehive and honey bees. Many of the pictures have real personality...like the adorable bunny rabbits, yawning hippopotamus, and a frog with a long tongue catching a fly! I'm sure these blocks with have many uses in the future, to teach letters and animals, as well as to encourage creative building!

I am SO glad i purchased these for my son. They are truely the most amazing blocks. They are incredibily soft, beautiful and even make a tiny, soft squeak when squeezed. They are also great for a teething baby, my son loves to chew them! You can stack them in ANY way, the material allows them to stick very well any way you place them. Which is great for a child learning how to stack...less frustration and gives them more creativity from having more options of ways to put them together. You can even put them in the bath tub! I build many amazing things out of these all the time (i may have to buy my own set so my son doesnt have to share!) and my son loves ofcourse, knocking down what iv built. The colors are beautiful and the images on each one are amazing. I would buy these over and over and really recommend everyone buy these. This company makes great toys, i own ALOT of their products. The bag they come in also comes with instructions on how to get them back into the bag! CLEAR instructions, i may add lol I cant recommend these enough...I PROMISE you will NOT be disappointed in purchasing these. Out of all of his christmas toys, this is by far a favourite! Your child and you will love looking at the amazing images on each one, learning the animals and alphabet together and building amazing structures that would be IMPOSSIBLE with any other block set!

Great block set for everyone. All ages love to play this even the adults. The baby loves to chew on blocks. The kids love to build with them, the pictures are very fun as well.

I got these blocks to give as a birthday present and I liked them so much that I ended up buying a set for my daughter. She has the set of ten, and with the addition of this set, now has 36 blocks to play with. There are several things that make these blocks great: 1. They are soft---which means that when they're thrown (as they inevitably will be) they don't cause damage 2. They squeak---this may be more interesting to your animals than it is to your child 3. They are nontraditional colors---I like the variation from the typical primary colors seen in most toys 4. They are nontraditional shapes---there are several shapes included which makes the building more fun 5. Each block has a letter of the alphabet and an animal to match it---for example, E for Elephant. I like how the animals are molded into the blocks and there is no paint or stickers on the blocks 6. When given as a gift, the bag makes for a nice presentation. I love these blocks, and my toddler does too. I see myself giving them as gifts in the future. My toddler did not show a lot of interest in her initial set of 10 B. blocks until I added this set to it.

A little smaller than I was expecting. There is a quarter in first photo for size reference. Beautiful artwork and very squeezable and squeaky. My son already loves them. A little high price but he can not hurt himself when he falls on them, and no worries about wood splinters. The package says 6 months to three years. I may buy another set when my nine month old is older. Comes with a nice storage bag that has a gift tag for giving as a gift. Of course my son likes the bag also :)

My 8 month old adores these! They’re fun to hold, knock down and munch on. The quality of these block can’t be beat - I’ve seen similar silicon like ones but these have excellent edges and the pictures/colours on these blocks are fun and interesting. They also have a soft squeak when you squeeze them. They would make a great gift to a baby looking for stimulating sensory toys. BEST PART Is the little picture card that is included that shows you how to put the blocks back in the bag so that they fit perfectly and the zipper closes back up - LOVE THAT!

C'est l'un des meilleurs jeux d'éveil que j'ai pu voir. Design parfait pour monter tout type de construction. Matière semi rigide, parfaite pour mordre dedans. Graphisme très malin correspondant à l'alphabet (en anglais). B Toys est une marque idéale pour l'éveil d'un enfant. Petit plus, la housse de rangement en matériaux recyclés. Très pratique pour emmener des jouets en voyage !

Habe die Bausteine für meinen 5 Monate alten Sohn bestellt nachdem ich diese bei einer Freundin gesehen habe. Sie sind perfekt für Babys, da sie sich damit nicht weh tun können, sich auch von der Oberfläche her sehr angenehm und weich anfühlen und ganz einfach abgewaschen werden können. So kann Baby auch nach Herzenslust mal darauf rumkauen. Auch die verschiedenen Formen und Farben sowie die Tiermotive und die Buchstaben sind schön und praktisch zum üben. Denn auch meine Tochter mit fast 4 Jahren spielt gerne mit den Bausteinen. Und die Tasche die dazu gehört ist auch super, da kann man sie wunderbar wieder verstauen. Alles Top und absolute Kaufempfehlung!
