Just freeze overnight & they are ready to go the next day! Review: Not a substitute for Donvier - If you are looking for a freezer bowl to use manually, as if it was a Donvier, this is not the item for you unless you buy the machine that goes with it. There is a big hole in the bottom of this bowl, so it is not possible to use this bowl without the machine.
