Q: do they make something like this for the 78 count size?

You just need to take the wipes out of the plastic container they come in and place them directly in the container and pour the extra cleaner in the bottom.

Q: Can I use this to make my own wipes from paper towel? Would it fit that?

If your question is, "will a standard paper towel roll fit in the dispenser?", the answer is, no. The cylinder fits a standard sized container of wipes(Lysol, Chlorox, etc.) and is too small in diameter and height to hold a paper towel roll.

Q: Has anyone tried to fit a larger roll of wipes without the original packaging? Would a 72 count fit?

Yes - It's snug, but I have no problem fitting the larger package of wipes in (sans original container.)

Q: Any other colors? like copper or oil rubbed bronze?

Hello and thank you for your question. We personally only carry this color in our store and didn't see any other color offered by our distributor. It is possible to DIY the color with some supplies by HomeDepot, as there are a ton of tutorials on YouTube on changing colors of items like these. Hope this info was helpful to you. Thank you!
