Brackets do not fit.
I tried installing this on my 2023 Ford Ranger but the bolts and the bracket don’t match on the tailgate from the driver's side.

Does not suit a 2018 Ford Ranger
This was my fault as the brochure says 2019 and newer. My build is 11/18, so I thought it was PX3 and that the 2019 accessory would fit - WRONG. Let's see how easy (or otherwise) it is to return and get the correct one.

Easy Install
In addition to the instructions I watched a helpful You Tube video. The video wasn't really necessary but never hurts to have too much information. The installation was easy although taking the original bolts out of the tailgate took some effort. Using a T50 bit with a ratchet would be easiest but I didn't have the bit and didn't want to buy one if I didn't have to so ended up using a Torx wrench. Also note that the instructions included with the kit did not mention in the "required tools" that you need an M6 allen wrench. Again, the install was easy and the damper works well. A bit slow dropping (but I guess that's the point) however I suspect that will loosen up over time.

Does not fit 2025 ford ranger raptor. However the product quality and packaging is exceptional.
