Great salt!!
I was searching for a replacement for the Celtic Salt as it’s been out of stock. Stumbled upon this gem Not only is it way more affordable, but it tastes great, is a reputable seller, has the characteristics of real french sea salt and BOY is it salty! This is no ordinary table salt… this is a high quality, salty (for lack of better term) salt. I use it primarily in cooking and garnishing but also a small pinch in my filtered water. Thanks to Barbara O’Neill the Celtic Salt is flying off the shelves but I think this is a great substitute! I honestly will repurchase this as it’s a quality salt and way more affordable. I’ve shared it with some friends and family and they all enjoy it. Glad I found it!

Mellow taste, love it
It doesn’t claim to have the 85 minerals other French great salt does but I’m assuming it does. Packed in WA state and honestly that’s why I bought it. I trust food brands from WA & OR. (They tend to set the bar high.) At any rate, it tastes great.

Celtic Salt from the other end of the lake. Literally.
Celtic Salt is so good for you but can be quite cost-prohibitive. French Grey is literally the same salt, collected from the other end of the lake at substantially less cost. I highly recommend ditching the table salt and going with this, or, if you're feeling fancy and special, the Celtic. I'm cheap and I like my salt a lot. I'll stick with the French Grey. I've ordered this several times and it's always consistently good price and quality. I've bought it for others who have no experience with this and always get rave reviews back.

high-quality salt
Viva Doria Sel Gris French Light Grey Sea Salt is a high-quality salt that adds depth and complexity to culinary creations. Here's why I recommend it: Pros: 1. **Rich Flavor Profile**: This salt boasts a rich and complex flavor profile, with subtle mineral notes and a hint of brininess that enhance the taste of dishes. It adds depth and complexity to both savory and sweet recipes, making it a versatile ingredient in the kitchen. 2. **Natural and Unrefined**: Sel Gris is a natural, unrefined sea salt that retains its natural minerals and trace elements, giving it a more robust flavor and texture compared to refined table salt. It's minimally processed, ensuring that you get all the health benefits of natural sea salt. 3. **Fine Texture**: The fine texture of this salt makes it easy to dissolve and incorporate into recipes, ensuring even distribution of flavor. Whether you're seasoning meats, vegetables, or baked goods, it blends seamlessly without any grittiness. 4. **Versatile Use**: Viva Doria Sel Gris French Light Grey Sea Salt is suitable for a wide range of culinary applications, including seasoning, brining, curing, and finishing. It can be used as a primary seasoning or as a finishing touch to enhance the flavor and presentation of dishes. 5. **Beautiful Presentation**: The light grey color of this sea salt adds visual appeal to dishes, making them look more sophisticated and inviting. It's perfect for garnishing salads, roasted vegetables, or grilled meats, adding a touch of elegance to any meal. Cons: 1. **Higher Price Point**: Compared to regular table salt, Viva Doria Sel Gris French Light Grey Sea Salt may have a higher price point due to its premium quality and natural processing. However, the superior flavor and health benefits justify the investment for many culinary enthusiasts. 2. **Limited Availability**: Sel Gris sea salt may not be as readily available as common table salt in all grocery stores or markets. However, it can often be found in specialty food stores, gourmet markets, or online retailers. Overall, Viva Doria Sel Gris French Light Grey Sea Salt is a premium salt that elevates the flavor of dishes with its rich taste and natural mineral content. Whether you're a home cook or a professional chef, adding this salt to your pantry will enhance your culinary creations and impress your guests.

Good
I buy this salt to get the minerals. Although I've been told that gray sea salt Is what you need for the minerals. This is not gray and the gray sea salt is normally a little bit sticky . Stays a little bit clumped together. This is not like that so I'm not sure if I'm getting the right product but I'm going to use it up.
