These are brilliant.I’ve previously bought some USB-equipped sockets and been completely underwhelmed and disappointed by the build quality. Two previous competitor sockets developed faults within one week of use (one three pin socket stopped working and the other had a faulty USB socket).These MK sockets are brilliant. The rear profile is thinner than competitor products meaning they are easier to install as they fit straight into wall boxes (a competitor product required wall tiles to be trimmed to fit, which was a right phaff).I’ve been so impressed with the one I bought, that I’ve now reordered a few more to fit around the house and replace existing sockets.Don’t mess around with alternatives, these are the only USB-equipped sockets to buy.

arrived earlier than expected-goodwell packaged-goodinstallation a little difficult , but mostly due to existing cables not automatically lining up with the terminals- essentially a mirror image. However perseverance paid of and socket safely installed and working well.

It is not possible to connect USB cables with plugs connected to the socket ,I had to remove my plugs first to connect my phone 's USB cable because the space is too tight .Perhaps the manufacturer should consider moving the USB outlets to sit over the plug outlet and beside the switches .

Excellent value and good quality and appearance. Exchanged for an existing one in my kitchen to enable instant USB charging. On/Off switches are a bit small and fiddly when 13amp plugs are in position.

MK IMHO is the top brand for electrical fittings. As such this is a quality product at a great price
