I have fair skin and am also using products that make my skin more sun-sensitive than usual, so I’ve been looking for a good sun hat. I ordered a cheap one from Amazon and it was that - cheap. Way too big, too floppy, and too heavy, but it did offer good sun protection, albeit while making me look like a bee keeper! The Coolibar Stevie hat is much better made, not floppy, is lightweight, fits well, is cool, looks good, and provides excellent coverage which includes a wire that allows the face cover to fit snugly on the nose. It’s light-weight and thin enough that I think I can fit my bicycle helmet over it (chronic problem: bicycle helmets offer little to no sun protection). It’s also packable, which is crucial. It’s much cooler, temperature-wise (and fashion-wise) than the prior sun hat, which was rather hot (temperature-wise) and frumpy (fashion-wise). I recommend this hat for anyone who needs sun coverage.

Very good hat: light and breathable material , very high protection from the sun. The delivery was very quick . I warmly recommend.

I like the light blue color and the hat fits well. There is no way to secure the fabric flaps so the constantly open and expose your ears and neck to the sun. I will probably buy some snaps so I can keep the fabric closed. This is a pricey hat so I would expect it to already have that feature. I have seen similar hats on Amazon for $15 that offer the same features plus keep the fabric closed. This design still needs some work.

I purchased the Coolibar Sun Hat for my wife who wanted the hat to protect her from the hot sun as well as filter out any mold/mildew that may exist while she did her gardening. The hat fulfilled what she wanted and more.
