I love using LECA, and this bag is excellent quality! The clay balls are clean, lightweight, and a nice mix of sizes. I usually add them to my chunky soil mix for extra drainage, but I also like to keep some on hand in case I want to try growing an orchid directly in it or use it for hydroponics. My plants have done amazing in this! Both my pothos and spider plants have exploded with growth since the move. They are dusty at first, but give them a good rinse before use and you're good to go.

I am happy with Halatool leca pebbles. They are competitively priced and create a great medium for my succulent and plant collection. You can use them alone or with soil and rocks/perlite. They are also great for propagating. The color is consistent for real leca. They absorb water extremely well, are great for drainage, making them an excellent choice for succulents. This bag is huge, at an affordable price so it will last me a lot longer than the previous smaller bags I’ve purchased. Highly recommend. Especially when Amazon has a deal on them.

Larger than most clay pebbles, not sure what the success rate is as yet using this medium but quantity is well worth the price! Depending on the success rate of the one plant that is currently in this leca setup; I’d buy and use again!

A so amendment I choose not to do without. It makes a huge difference in my plants. After months of searching, this product has been the best value for me; almost no dust, lightweight, large quantity and great value! FYI, when you find a great product, you’re able to pick out the large leca and perlite when repotting, rinse in soapy water to reuse.
