Worth it, worth it, worth it!
PROS: 1. Soft - Unlike many disposable or cotton nursing pads, these are so soft that even when I had cracked, bleeding nipples, they never stuck to these pads. Trust me when I tell you that is a big deal! So, my nipples healed better and faster. (Cracked nipples are not the norm for nursing mothers. I recommend that anyone experiencing ANY problems with breastfeeding visit www.kellymom.com or seek advice from a lactation consultant through your hospital or OBGYN - breastfeeding your baby is so worth it!) 2. Absorbent - I produce a LOT of milk, and these pads catch and hold every drop. Cotton and disposable pads would often let the milk slide past, to be soaked up by my bra and shirt. 3. Leakproof - I've been using these for 6 weeks straight, and have yet to have them leak. 4. Well-made/durable - They hold up extremely well, wash after wash. 4. Stay in place - Cotton pads seem to shift, but these only do when I adjust my clothing/flaps/whatever for nursing. CONS: 1. Price - Yes, these are definitely a bit more pricey at the onset. However, remember that you are not going to need to replace them as you would disposable pads. 2. Color option is limited to light blue - Honestly, I just tried to find something else to round out my list. This is not a big deal. They don't even seem to show through my bras or nursing tanks. But I'd like other color options. Hands down, these are the best nursing pads I've ever used. Yes, they are a bit pricey, but they are worth every penny.

Absorbant and comfortable
I originally bought the Nuk and Medela washable nursing pads from Target because they were cheap and easy to pick up extras. I also bought Lanolin cream nearly weekly to protect my nipples, I thought from being dried out due to nursing, but it turns out from the incredibly dry and rough nursing pads. Then I bought the Bamboobies and have not needed the Lanolin since and it has been 2 and a half weeks. They are so soft! I soaked through my nursing pads almost hourly the first few weeks and was getting sick of wet shirts and smelling like rotten milk. That is why I bought the overnight washable Bamboobies. Around the third night I wore the Bamboobies, I overproduced and overslept and my nursing pads were completely soaked, but my nightshirt wasn't. I also have had a couple times during the day where my son has slept longer and I have gotten busy with something and never has my shirt gotten wet. For me, it was worth the extra money (other nursing pads I bought were about $2 per pair, but the Lanolin was $10 per week and a half) to stay dry and feel comfortable. The only downside is that they are noticeable in tighter shirts, but since they are supposed to be for overnight, that hardly seems like a con. Also, they are not noticeable in looser shirts. I am planning on getting a few of the regular pairs so that I can wear those with tighter shirts. I dry mine flat instead of in the dryer and they do take a day or so to dry that way, but I easily make due with the four pairs as long as I wash them often.

The Best for Heavy Letdown!
I purchased three brands of reusable breast pads (Itzy Ritzie Glitzy Gals, Love My, and Bamboobies in order to compare. The disposable pads irritate my skin and are not cost effective if you are breastfeeding long-term, so I was looking for another option. Here are my thoughts. Please note, I am large busted (40 DD) and have a forceful letdown, so those things are considered in my reviews. Itzy Ritzy Glitzy Gals - These are a bamboo rayon on the side that touches your skin, and appear to be a cotton blend on the "pretty" side. These were the smallest in diameter of the three I tried (they aren't tiny, just small in comparison to the others). They didn't last as long during the day and I experienced some leaks (i.e. saturation through the pad, and my bra / shirt) with this brand. I think this is in part to the fabric on the "pretty side" not being a very moisture-blocking fabric, plus they are a little smaller than my other ones. I also experienced some "sticking" of the fabric to my nipple if I didn't change the pad quickly before the "leaked" milk started to dry. This was a little uncomfortable when removing the pad. If you don't have a lot of leakage or a heavy letdown, these may be ok for you, but I only use them around the house when I am not worried about leaks. I gave them 3 stars - they are fine but not my go-to. They do have the prettiest prints of the three I tried if you care about that. If your bra is not padded, the line around the pad may be slightly visible. Side note - these were much less expensive at my local Motherhood store than on Amazon. Love My - These have the same bamboo rayon "skin side" as Itzy Ritzy but are larger and have a waterproof backing. They may be too large and bulky for small busted ladies but were great for me. They also come with a storage pouch which is nice (I put it in my diaper bag so my clean ones aren't floating loose). I have the same experience with these sticking a bit if my milk leaks and the starts to dry, but have not had any milk leak all the way through the pad (and sometimes they are pretty saturated). If your bra is not padded, the line around this pad may be visible. I really like these and gave them 4 stars - I would have given them 5 stars if the bamboo rayon fabric didn't stick to me. These were the least expensive per pair of the brands I tried. If you can't afford bamboobies these are a great option. Bamboobies - I got a combo pack with regular and overnight pads at my local boutique, plus more overnights on Amazon. These have a super soft bamboo velour (vs the rayon "washcloth" material of the other two) on the skin side and a waterproof backing. I have had zero leaks with these. The heart shape of the regular pads seems weird but it is the least visible as far as lines showing through your bra. I put them in pointed end up. The overnights hold a TON without leaking. They are round vs the heart shape, and thicker, so may show through your bra if it's not padded. These were my favorite brand and did not stick to my nipples when the milk started to dry. 5 stars, but on the pricey side - it they were less expensive I would have bought lots more (although if they were less expensive the quality might not be what it is). Regardless of the brand, I do recommend getting several pairs if you leak a lot - I change mine every few hours so I always have several pairs in the wash.

Humiliation life saver!!!
I started with disposable nursing pads but they get wet so quickly and started causing my skin to itch, extremely uncomfortable. Few days after I returned from the hospital, my milk was abundant and I was leaking every 2-3 hours in average. It gets worst when I hear my baby cries and I would be leaking all over my bra and clothes. So I did some research and decided on these overnight series. When I received them, I love that how soft these were!!!! Immediately did a quick wash and started using it on the same day. Very absorbing, so comfortable on skin, except it does get a little too big for day time use. Shifts in my nursing bra, so often ended up revealing when I'm not paying attention. Now it's been 3 months, my milk supply is much stable now, no longer leak like crazy, so it's time for me to invest on those cute Day Bamboobies instead. Washing and drying is pretty simple direct. I always wash them along with my baby's clothes every few days and tumble dry on medium heat. Often it's still slightly moist, so I'll line dry back to it's natural stage. I have tried tumble it dry fully on high heat, noticed the soft side fabric becomes harsh and dry, irritates my skin instead. Also, don't attempt to keep using it once wet because you will smell like spoiled milk odor.

Worth the money, so soft and never stick to the nips!
These may cost more but they're the best! I bought another brand and they stuck to my nipples and had to peel them off. These are so soft and never stick and absorb really well! Definitely worth the extra money.

Good product! I'd say go with assortment pack for more options.
I bought this extra set of the overnight Bamboobies in addition to one of the assortment packs that has three pairs of the hearts and one or two pairs of the overnight ones (can't remember exactly how many). In hindsight I can say that for me two of the assortment packs would have sufficed rather than buying the full set of overnighters, but I didn't know what to expect since this is my first time nursing. The overnighters are nice and soft and feel a little more plush than the heart shaped ones. As a consequence that means that they are bulkier and don't lie as flat underneath your nursing bra and tops, but that's not as much of a concern as you'd expect. I was worried about details like this before baby but have since had too many other things to worry about, not to mention all the impacts on your appearance that motherhood brings differently for each woman. All that to say, no, they don't lie flat, but that's a minor concern in light of their comfort and great absorbency. You will appreciate that softness and bulk since it can help cradle tender and sore nipples! I especially like the larger coverage they provide since the hearts have more of a tendency to slip out of place and leave your nipple rubbing either on the edge of the heart or directly against your nursing bra or both. That's why for me the assortment pack worked out better than just the overnighters so that I could have the best of both worlds and just decide which to wear when. I wish Bamboobies made nursing bras with these already sewn into the cup as that would make using them in public a lot easier. (Maybe they do make them, and I'm just not aware. Love this product and company enough that would happily buy if they did!) Trying to un/snap bra one handed makes it hard to adjust nursing pad on top of everything else. Again, this is my first time nursing so maybe will improve with time. Just thought that was a consideration worth passing on to other new moms. These wash and dry like a dream. I toss them in a delicates sack with my nursing bras. They have held up both in absorbency and softness over several months of washing several times a week! Keep in mind that bamboo fibers will occasionally transfer to your nipple even after multiple washings. It bothers me a little that those fibers end up in baby's mouth, but this has not kept me from using them. Baby doesn't seem to notice, and it hasn't impacted his latch or nursing. Just another thing to keep in mind. Overall, definitely a product that I recommend and will continue to use as I nurse. I found the assortment pack to be the best bet for me as it includes just a few of the overnighters.

The only thing that has worked for me!
These are a great option, especially if you have sore nipples. I have a 7 week old and have been using disposable nursing pads. I've tried multiple different brands and have found them uncomfortable and ineffective. I think I leak a lot more than normal and the disposable pads cannot contain the milk. The biggest problem with them is that they shift around on me and the sticky side will end up attached to my boob somewhere while the nipple leaks all over my clothes and then bedsheets. I also have had very sore nipples and the disposable nursing pads feel like sandpaper. The best thing about these babboobies is that they feel nice against the nipple. I've also found that they stay in place much better than the disposables. They do seem to absorb the milk as I have been much drier (in my clothes) since wearing them but they do not wick it away from the skin very well. Again, this could be because I am overfilling the pad. I feel like I could go through 3 or more sets of these pads a day. Pros: Soft against the nipple Flat look under clothes Keeps my clothes dryer than disposables No trash Cons: Doesn't completely wick away from skin (but the disposables I've tried haven't worked well here either because they shift too much off the nipple, getting my clothes wet). A bit expensive since I use a few sets a day. Conclusion: The best nursing pad out there (and I've tried many)!

BEST Nursing pads EVER
I have three children that I have breastfed (currently breastfeeding one). I have been through every disposable pad out there. I didn't think I would like reusable nursing pads so I never tried them. What a shame! These are AMAZING. They are very soft against the skin & super absorbent… they DON'T LEAK! I work 13 hour shifts as a nurse and only get one opportunity to pump during that time. I leaked through several pads in the past which led to me walking around in a damp bra all night. Gross. Not with these bad boys! I have been using them for months now and they have NEVER leaked. And when they do get wet, they don't FEEL wet against your skin. No more squishy bra syndrome! They don't shift around any more than any other nursing pad as another reviewer suggested. They stay in place fine for me & I have a very large chest that is always trying to pop out of my bra. They wash and dry beautifully & look brand new after many, many uses. I highly recommend these to all nursing moms! Ditch your other pads!
