I’m thrilled with this rubber plant! He arrived on time, was well packaged, and shipped perfectly. I’m attaching pictures to show his condition upon arrival, including a before and after of his leaves once I wiped each with a damp towel. He shined up beautifully. From the top of his dirt to the tip of the tallest leaf, he is approximately 21”. Every leaf was perfect, and there’s even some new growth. Couldn’t be happier. Great price, too!

3 stars bc I honestly don't know
I now know it's recommended to get plants in March-not late December. Ha! Though, This little buddy is still alive. Its lost a handful of it's bottom leaves which, as a first time planter, was confusing. But I believe it's a cycle. The package said it could remain in its original plastic container for 6 mos but mine must be aggressive bc its not currently growing anymore. It is top heavy & it's recommended it be repotted when it is no longer growing. Oh, and know what location your windows are & try to keep a steady temp indoors-which may be challenging if you share a space. To be continued....

Beautiful,Healthy and a real giant. Needed to put this plant on the floor.
When you order this from Delray you recieve a gigantic plant. So healthy and beautiful. This is a great company and i try to order from them when looking for a new plant friend. They look pricey but the other plant companies do not include shipping so all in all it comes out to the same price but Delrays plants a big and mature.

Very Impressed
I received a rubber plant as a home warming 23 years ago and after several re-pots over the years it was nearly 5’ y’all. Having to leave the state for several months the “tender” neglected it and several other plant including a Snake Plant that was also an old timer. So I shopped locally for a replacement but wanted a fairly mature plant not a 4” starter. This was my first time ordering a plant online and I couldn’t be happier. It came well packaged and thriving. A little wiping off of the leaves and a 10” pot (one size larger than the container grower container it arrived in) and the photo speaks volumes. I will certainly be begin to replace my other house plants.

Small - not like one in picture or reviews
November 2018 UPDATED- took another star off because the plants half dead. i have several ficus i care for and this is the only plant that has been dying at a rapid pace. overall upset with the quality and sizing of it.Beautiful plant but disappointed in size. Much smaller than the one in photo and ones in reviews. I bought a pot to go with a larger plant and it’s very small. Feel ripped off considering the price :/

lovely large plant for (large!) table or stand
Packaging differed from the description: The plant arrived in a box 36.5 inches tall by 10 by 10 square. Within the box, the plant was wrapped in brown paper that was sealed up the side and tucked under the bottom of the pot and folded carefully over the top leaves. It shipped from Florida to zone 9a in Texas (ordered Thursday, arrived Tuesday with Prime shipping) and did fine in low 90s summer heat. Like most nursery plants, the lowest leaves were dirty, there was some leaf litter, and there are a few tiny spiders maintaining the pot's ecosystem. No spider-mites or other pests, so that's good. Ficus elastica have aerial roots, so they were expected, too. One mature leaf was slightly damaged at the tip because UPS is what it is. (This is no big deal; I'm delighted that it arrived alive and intact at all, tbh.)Description: The height of the rubber plant above the soil line is 18 inches. The depth of the root ball is ~8.5 inches and the grow pot is untapered, so it's 8 inches across at every depth. Mine has 4 primary stems and the crown spans 24 inches. The mature leaves are 8-9 inches long and 4.5-5.5 inches wide. They're a lovely dark black-green-burgundy. It arrived with 4 baby leaves in the process of unfurling; their leaf sheaths are bright red. The soil arrived quite damp (not a bad thing for shipping) and exceedingly peaty, which is okay for very young plants but rubber trees really want a well-aerated mix...which this is not. Note for repotting: most 12 inch pots are 10 inches across below their midline. A 10 inch pot will be too small without a fair bit of root-pruning.Which brings me back to size: This is one of those listings that would really benefit from a line drawing of a person holding the item for scale. The cropped pics with furniture give no sense of proportion.

No instructions or tags
I sent the plant to my son as a house warming gift. It showed up on its side. Dirt all over. And no instructions or even a tag telling him what kind of plant it was.
