WOOSTER BRUSH 4181-2 1/2 Ultra/Pro 2-1/2" Brush, 2-1/2-Inch, Brown,Purple

I purchased a new batch of Wooster Ultra Pro brushes to replace the current set that were demolished on a large exterior paint job. Primer, water base or otherwise is not kind to any brush and large exterior jobs take a toll no matter how clean you keep your brushes. I switched from Purdy to various synthetic brushes over the past couple years. I favored the synthetic for a minute, but find they get just as gunky as Purdy over time. These specific Wooster brushes are by far my favorite. The bristle depth is thin, they have good flex and clean edges for cutting in and detail work. Amazon also sells them for $3 less than the local lumber store and I didn't have to drive 180 miles to get them! I lucked out, as all three brushes arrived perfect, and were super thin. Yes, I will pick through every brush on the peg for the thinest depth when hand picking from the store lol. Why pay for a brush you have to thin... Totally recommend these brushes for interior or light duty exterior detail work.

Following a visit to my son's home in Michigan a couple of years ago, when my husband and I helped him out with kitchen painting, we used these Wooster brushes and I was very impressed with the way they make the job of applying paint so much easier and accurate due to their angled brush shape. I brought a couple of brushes home with me to the UK. I needed more brushes over lockdown but they weren't available to buy from Amazon .co.uk, so I had to order them from Amazon.com and had to pay a reasonable postage and packing charge. Well worth it to have more of these great brushes. They clean up easily too. Highly recommended.

Best brush for painters on the market! Even if you are doing diy projects, invest in this one brush... eliminates the need fir painters tape and your lines will be perfect! Go slow and don’t load brush with too much paint.... less than 1/2 inch onto the top of the brush... I went from a diy person to a regular painter and tried all the name brand brushes and this is by far the best!

This is a wonderful brush! I'm extremely particular about the way my brushes perform, and this one met all my expectations. Not a single hair came out of place during the course of my project, and using it with a glossy self-leveling polyurethane finish gave my project a surface that actually looks like wet glass, and not a brush mark on it. People are afraid to touch the surface because it is so perfect, they assume I JUST painted it, and it MUST be wet. I will have this brush for a very long time and use it with pleasure.

Small, tapered! Great for the small area I needed to paint

It's a good quality brush but calling this "firm" is highly misleading. It's not firm at all. It's as soft as it gets and I'm not sure I'll find a use for it. We'll see...

High quality paintbrush. It's a little bit thinner than other brushes, which Helps with cutting in edges. Holds the right amount of pain and is easy to clean.Can't ask for much more out of a paintbrush
