A very nice tanto-style damascus EDC knife
Being fairly new in the hobby of higher quality knives I am still a beginner. However, this Civivi "Brazen" knife is *very* satisfying, especially for a sub-$100 price. I spent the extra for the damascus blade, even if the metallurgy was not a good as the non-damascus offerings. I wanted the damascus for the looks and I am happy with it. The scales are a fabric-based micarta that initially look kind of like burlap, but boy-oh-boy do they feel nice when you are holding the knife. It is a basic liner lock, not a button lock, but still solid and a quality knife build.

1 Year Review
Writing a review after a year of pretty brutal use. I’ve used this knife to gut fish, process a deer, as a small log splitter with a baton, and as a makeshift camp fork. The blade is still very solid and does not shake a bit. I’ve sharpened it once and it holds an edge very well. I’m sure there are better blades out there but for the price you can’t beat this one. I’ll be buying the same knife if I ever loose or break this one.

Quality EDC
I like carrying this compact tanto in my front right pocket. There are screw holes on either side so the clip can be swapped to your left pockets if you prefer. Both the thumb stud and finger flick on the back are smooth as can be. Opened every time with minimal effort. First day I was checking it out I cut my finger. The blade is crazy sharp and well made. I’ve purchased 3 so far and gifted my family some as well. I highly recommend this blade to anyone looking for a quality EDC.

It's a decent, not perfect edc knife
What's good about it:- The blade and the knife are well made and the knife once deployed is solid and strong.- The knife comes very sharp out of the box, the edge retention is okay, and it's easy to sharpen.- It feels good in the hand and is able to do some serious cutting tasks. Excellent box opener. What's not:- sits very low in pocket, difficult to withdraw quickly.- difficult to deploy, the flipper is small and hard to use.Good knife, should last for many years with reasonable use and care. The difficulty opening may be confined to the example I have. Others might find the knife easy to open. My results are mixed at best.

My go-to EDC
My go-to EDC. Solid build, smooth action, and the blade stays sharp. Fits great in hand and the pocket clip is sturdy. Love the flipper and thumb stud options. Can't recommend it enough.

Really nice knife for the price.
I ordered this knife after seeing Project Farms YouTube video that showcases this knife along with some other affordable options. I didn't have the highest expectations for it even after the video, but decided it looked like a nice option especially for the price. I was blown away with just how nice it actually is. Zero blade play once locked and very sharp. It flips out very nicely and looks great. I wouldn't say the grip is the most quality thing in the entire world but, it feels nice enough and should hold up to everyday use. I have many knifes including Benchmade and Microtech but honestly, I could see me using this knife more just because of the price point and I don't have to worry about damaging or loosing a several hundred dollar knife. Would highly recommend this knife as an EDC especially if you work a job that you actually use a knife for everyday task. If you loose it or break it, it's not that big of a deal, but it's still a quality feeling knife that you wouldn't want to loose or break on purpose. I'm excited to see how it holds up in the long run.
