Holds up. Very convenient

In my wife’s culture, incense is burned and brought into every room in the house on Christmas Eve to cleanse it for the new year. This was bought as an upgrade to the bowl that is usually used. The quality was as expected, maybe even a little better. It seems to be cast and then milled. The spire on the cover is removable and can be screwed on inverted for storage. This will be perfect for its intended purpose.

If burning charcoal incense you need to buy a basket to put in it or it will char up the brass Which gets annoying after awhile. Also putting the lid on tends to smother out the charcoal.

Got it for my mother in law so she can cleanse the air and she's very happy with it.

The chain is very fine and broke before I had even used it. See pic 1. I went and bought a better chain for a few dollars and attachment rings. See pic 2. Made a 100% difference. I also added a blessed medal. Looks much better and definitely more stable.

It’s exactly what we want

At first I thought the spire was missing, but then I realized they took good care and screwed it upside down to protect it during the shipping process.

I love the look of it, but dumping out the old ash is slightly a pain while it’s hanging
