Lifa - Heilung Live at Castlefest

I need to get something off my chest, how much ads in the middle of a musical performance,,,argh!!!!! This music is very intense, you get into it! But when watching it on Youtube, it's interrupted by ads. So I spent roughly two hundred dollars on blu-ray player, software and this disc, just so I could watch and listen without ads. And I'm glad that I did.

This is tribal music, authentic as it could be considering the absence of written records from the period of the Viking Age. Archaeology & the Rune Stones left behind do unveil quite a bit of what it may have been like. In any event, Heilung takes out all the stops and delivers a performance that is visually riveting from start to finish. Authentic wardrobe and instruments create a truly primal experience. You may not walk away whistling their tunes, but this Blue-ray disk will leave its mark deep in your soul. Fantastic voices, imagery, and a spectacular execution of a unique and rare musical genre all combine to create a performance that is like no other. The quality of the disk is outstanding both visually & aurally. If you enjoy history, and maybe some American Indian and Celtic undertones, you will probably love this. Odin must be proud!

Heilung (Healing) is a must see band LIVE! This performance will show their energy and performances to the Viking rituals to the full extent. It's also available free on their YouTube channel, but supporting is better than nothing!

Wow what an awesome production. The music, the epic visuals they really went all out on this. If you appreciate shows like Vikings or the lost kingdom I think you'd really enjoy this.

Ho scoperto gli Heilung, (" Cura " in lingua germanica), casualmente, grazie all'algoritmo di youtube, inizialmente mi sono incuriosito vedendo l'abito di scena della " sacerdotessa ", poi sono rimasto folgorato dalle sonorità abbinate alla teatralità. La musica norrena è stata, recentemente, sdoganata dalla serie Vikings e trova in Wardruna forse il suo interprete migliore. Questo trio di stirpe nordica mi ha, letteralmente, saputo emozionare, come non mi accadeva da anni. Potete attingere alla loro, scarsa, discografia composta da tre album e fruire di questo Blu-Ray, un esibizione dal vivo eseguita al Castelfest di Lisse nei Paesi Bassi che, a mio parere, merita la visione in quanto sublimazione del messaggio spirituale che cercano di veicolare. Oltre alle sonorità, composte essenzialmente da vocalizzi e percussioni, l'abbinamento cromatico della performance teatrale è meravigliosa, il bianco e nero iniziale, le tonalità di rosso, blu, bianco, e giallo conferiscono un'aura mistica che ammalia lo spettatore. Spero, un giorno, di poterli vedere dal vivo. La confezione è in cartoncino con un libretto fotografico minimale; unica pecca è la traccia sonora registrata in semplice stereofonia che non rede piena giustizia al concerto che, invece, meriterebbe un 5.1. Per quanto mi riguarda, un titolo imperdibile da visionare più volte, una " Cura " spirituale che riporta alla nostra ancestralità, quando dimoravamo nei boschi e non eravamo imprigionati dentro barriere di cemento.

Amazing live show. Connects me to something ancient long forgotten. Too bad the mix is only stereo instead of 5.1 but other than that, awesome experience. Would love to go to one of their rituals live.

Superbe concert transcendant... Le genre de spectacle dont on ne se lasse pas de revisionner... Très bien filmé et superbe son... Ne pas l'acheter serait une erreur !
