I thought $27 was a bit much for a toilet seat, but after going threw numerous cheaper seats, I caved and got this one. Now I think $27 was a steal!!! This seat belongs in a much nicer bathroom!!! Lmao I love it. It's super classy looking and matches the hardware in the bathroom perfectly. It's also super strong!!! Does not slam. The lid goes down slowly. Installation was easy and pretty standard. Wipes clean easily. I've already sent links to all my big bootie friends and family!!! Which is all of us!!!!!

I wanted to replace all our old toilet seats, as I wanted the slow close design...I priced them at numerous stores and found Amazon had the best price by far. I purchased a total of three seats and love how they look and especially love that they are all "slow close," no more banging toilet seats. Thank you!

I like the look and feel of this seat! Installation is simple, it stays in place, and best of all, the lid doesn't slam! Fair warning though. It stains very easily, so I wouldn't spray anything directly on it when cleaning. Other than that, I've purchased this seat for both of my bathrooms and would purchase again as required.

We got the round toilet seat and it nicely fit our very old bowl. The seat is elegant and beautiful. My favorite are the black hinges and shiny white coating. Oh, yes, and the soft close! It feels very sturdy and locked in place. My husband said it was easier to install than others, and took only 15 min. Overall, it was a great purchase. I prefer when the cover of a toilet seat is vertically (flush) aligned with the seat instead of it being beveled, so that I don't have to stick my fingers midway on the seat in order to open it. So, I've adapted to using the side of the cover to open now. My complaint is about the manufacturer's pictures which can be misleading.

Exactly what I wanted. Great quality for a non-insane price. Fit my round toilet seat well, and used in combination with Tushy Fresh bidet underneath without a need for extra bumpers. My concerns due to reading other reviews were unfounded. 1) "the seat close is too slow": it is zero issue to just close the lid with your hand, like I was used to doing with the plain lid I had before. It doesn't make any weird noises or feel like it's going to break or fail faster, etc. 2) Installation with the "break off" ends underneath made think it would be hard to then uninstall the lid later: zero issue, you can just use a wrench to tighten and either not break off the end bits, or just not worry if you do, since there is still plenty left to grab onto for removing the lid later. I think its made it this way with the break-off part as a helpful guide for people who might otherwise under-tighten the lid.

It’s perfect. It’s attractive, seemingly sturdy, easy to install and closes softly and quietly. Replacing the original, whose finish was worn after years of cleaning. Note, do not use a bleach cleaner. It will dull the finish.

I opened this brand new box & removed the seat from an internal plastic liner, only to find the seat hinges were already scratched and the gold had completely come off. It's not too terribly important, however the included hardware was sealed up inside the box with it, and somehow one of the gaskets that holds the bolt to the actual bowl, was broken. The instructions are pretty clear. When you're assembling this for install, the bolts are not connected to the seat so of you don't (or can't) hand tighten the bolts into the hinge assembly, who knows what will happen. Then, complicate that with plastic gaskets that are so flimsy that they can brake during shipping, even inside a super sturdy box. My order came completely intact and there were no dents in the box, so I have no idea how they broke in the first place. I have no confidence in the sturdiness of the plastic gaskets. I contemplated contacting the company directly, but their own support info states that if the hardware isn't included, return the whole package to the retailer. That's stupid. Extra plastic gaskets should be included in case of things like this. Such a waste of shipping for a small piece of plastic. I didn't go any further than unboxing everything, as per the manufacturer, I have to return the whole thing due to broken hardware (not missing). I guess this protocol was put in place because their customer service doesn't have a way to send out only replacement parts. So disappointed..
