Handles are of good quality, but the rope breaks quite frequently. Also the handle screws which hold the rope got rusted within 3 months. Should improve the quality of the rope and handle joints.

The quality of the product is very very good but if you're a professional player then you can go for sanguin. But it's a very good rope for beginners

Its really not user-friendly please dont go for it. Rather buy the traditional one which has thick neon color rope , light plastic handles.

Update: there are no ball bearings or anything. It’s just a simple mechanism with a screw holding it at the top.After good enough time of usage one of the handle’s screw kept on coming loose, the solution or fix turned out pretty easy, because of the way the screw turned - all I had to do was hold the problematic handle in my left hand and the screw will stay intact (marked the handle with a small sticker).I still rate this product high as the time saved, price and overall quality is still good, the solution to the problem is a simple one.—————————-Original review:First impression: Just wow!!Today is the first time I used it and it cut my time in Exactly half. I am impressed at the speed with which I can control it (did not push for full speed rev as today being the first day).Owing to the thin diameter of the wire when you do a miss-skip the bite is stingingly sharp on calf muscles.The ball bearing inside the handles seems to be rust prone(picked up from other reviewers). To compensate for the same, I dropped few (bike chain) oil drops at the top of the handle.This a 1 day usage review(7500 skips in total). If any issue comes up in the coming days I will update this review.

The rope is of very poor quality:1. Within 3 days of using, the two small black caps used to cover the loose end of the rope beyond the adjustable screw fell off. I jog in a public park, and locating the caps after they've fallen off is next to impossible.2. The screws themselves get loose often. During one such jump rope session it fell down and the rope went flying away. Thankfully I was able to locate the loose screw and nut on the ground, else this would have been completely unusable.3. The plastic sheath on the rope started peeling off after 7 days of use, revealing the steel cable underneath. I thought what the heck, it's still usable even though over the next two weeks a good 1 feet of the rope was bare steel cable now. And then started the real danger.4. The steel cable used to form the rope is basically braided steel wire. As the bare cable started hitting the ground, it started to wear off revealing tiny micro serrations - see the picture for reference. And these sharp, pointy frayed ends would get caught in clothes, shoes and it is not easy extricating them afterwards. I skip barefoot occasionally, and once when I missed a jump this thing got caught in my sole, and the ends went deep enough inside my skin to draw blood. It was like stepping on thorns - I actually had to pull out the broken bits of pierced wire from my soles.Save your money and get something better. I too was fooled by the numerous positive reviews here and went for it based on them.

Perfect quality material used for a commercial gym I would have rated a perfect 5star product IF the grips would have been little more thickAnd the paint on aluminium grip might rip off as it can also be seen on new product but 100% satisfied with overall qualityadjustable length of the string is just an amazing feature to get

Perfect jump rope, honestly couldn’t ask for more and being that it’s the best bet for the price I wouldn’t look elsewhere. If you need to adjust the size get some tin snips or cable cutters and replace the rubber ends. Ropes should be around your height +2.5ft just for a perfect length, this coming in around 10ft long out the packaging.

This is a good jump rope and a good value for the money. It's made well and easy to adjust based on your height with the little twist screws. I love the color and feel of it and it keeps it's shape (I don't see the rope part bending or creasing). My only complaint is that it REALLY hurts when you hit yourself with it because of the weight of the rope (I'd consider myself decent at jumping - not a novice but not a pro). In one respect, the weight of it is good because it gets around quick and it keeps its shape (vs. super lightweight ones that "fall" when they go over your head), but beware if you catch the back of your arms or legs - it will definitely leave a mark....or two. I am going to keep this but I don't think I would purchase it again.

The attachment that links the bearings to the handles is a screw that keeps coming loose after only 1 month of use. Once the screw is loosened it cannot be tightened again, its dangerous to use in public because at any given moment the rope can come loose and whip at the person next to you.Amazon needs to reconsider the design/quality here. Skip this rope (pun intended) and buy something higher quality.Minus this defect the rope is great, unfortunately it is now useless.

This is an excellent quality speed rope. Great weight, and swivel handles with easy adjustment for the rope length. For the average user rope length is measured to the armpits while standing on the rope with both feet. My GF is almost a foot shorter than me so we normally cannot share a rope. Because this rope adjusts so easily we can share. But, because it is such good quality at such a ridiculous price, we don't have to :-) Buy two!
