Used this to install rearview on Ford Expedition. Worked perfectly and have had no issues to date.

No dice on my Jag.
My Jaguar has a different mount than the norm, I think it's just from the rain sensing wipers that put the sensor in the center of the mirror mount. Instead of a single metal plate to hold the mirror it has a round steel ring adhered to what appears to be a rubber or plastic segmented ring adhered to the windshield surrounding the sensor. Anyway, after bead blasting the steel ring to make sure it was absolutely clean, I followed the directions to the letter and used tape to adhere the steel ring to the ring on the w/shield while the glue set. I let it set about 20 hours and reassembled the entire assembly - kind of a p.i.t.a but pretty doable. At first all was well, mirror was stuck on tight as a drum. Piece of cake I figured, glad that's out of the way. A few days later I parked the car for an hour, it was sunny and the temp was in the 70's. Came out after an hour and here's my mirror hanging by the wires! Total fail.

Don't waste your money on this one. Find the other Permatex rearview mirrow adhesive.
Garbage, Waste of money. I've been using Permatex mirror adhesives for years without a problem. Then a couple local stores had this newer type of Permatex. Last time it lasted a month. Time before, 2 weeks. In the last 8 months, I'm pretty sure I had to reattach the mirror 5 times. I know how to use it. The other Permatex worked fine. This does not. The one that worked had a sort of glass/plastic tube you broke and two chemicals mixed. This does not. I'll be searching out the other type now. I just reattached the mirror yesterday so I have a few weeks.

Does Not Work
I have tried to adhere my wife's car's new rearview mirror with Permatex twice, once with the stuff that came with the mirror, and then I bought another set locally because I assumed I had done something wrong the first time. Nope. I followed instructions to the letter both times, except the second time I let it cure 24 hours, and it still didn't hold at all. The instant I tried to adjust the mirror the mount came right off both times. Notice that they tell you on the packaging this is for individual use, not professional or commercial use. That is pretty much an admission that it is not going to work.

Waste of money
Followed instruction very carefully. I have very high attention to detail, did it on a nice warm day, took my time cleaning all surfaces as directed and kept pressure on the button for over two minutes after attaching it to the windshield. I even let it cure for a couple of days before attaching the mirror, to be extra safe. Mirror fell off the following day while the vehicle was parked. Absolute waste of time and money. Called Permatex Tech support line twice, got their voicemail both times, left message both times... never got a follow-up call.

Easy, follow directions
Super easy, follow directions. Great adhesion. Maybe put a bit extra glue on the tab and it ran down windshield, but scraped off with razor blade and it holds, havent had a problem.
