Pretty good value for high quality suet balls
The cheap ones, hard, like cricket balls are cheap for a reason. They are hard, like cricket balls, have hardly anything good and soft in them, and they simply go to waste or rot because they are too tough for the birds beaks to break them, especially Bluetits. If they do manage to do it, they will crumble. The birds in my garden learnt a long time ago to ignore them and I searched for better quality ones, usually labelled 'Premium, Ultimate or Superior'.I used to by them in boxes on 160 from an auction site until the seller got greedy. Then I found Wilko and Home Bargains 'Ultimate ones, and the birds loved them. These Buckton 'Superior' suet balls are almost exactly the same as those from both those stores, at least to the eye they are, and they feel the same as well. They are darker and softer than the 'cricket balls' and they are full of seeds and peanut bits, and birds love them. My birds go through 12 of these in 2 days, so I need to buy the larger box sizes. These are a really good bargain, one reason is that they are individually packed within the box in packets of 4 which is a great way to keep them fresh and to stop them going bad or drying out. Another is that although the price is almost exactly the same as the ones from the other two stores, for a comparible number of balls (10 more in Buckton's actually), free delivery makes the difference as I would have to drive between 6 and 20 miles to get to the other places.

Gourmet dining !
These balls I have used for some time , infact the birds just don’t STOP eating them . I’ve tried to change to a bit of a cheaper brand BUT !!!! They know what they like . My bird table & hangers always covered in birds . From wood peckers /to all the little tits long tail etc . Even my little wrens . Can’t recommend enough . Absolutely full of seeds . Amazing quality. They’re not hard either which tends to put the smaller birds off . Nice & soft . Any that crumble I put on flour for ground feeders robin , ring necked doves , blackbirds etc .I guess I’m impressed all round 👍

Good quality
I was searching for a replacement for Wilko premium fat balls and settled on these. The birds seem to like them well enough. Good peanut and sunflower seed ratio. They don't break in to a million pieces in transport like some of the others I have tried and don't smell rancid like some others. My only criticism is that they are wrapped in sealed plastic bags in 4 ball bundles within the box creating a lot of plastic to go to landfill. I'm sure this is what keeps them from falling apart and keeps them fresh but a little disappointing none the less.

Literally the BEST! Exceeded High Expectations
I bought these having tried many different ones. I was drawn to these because of the quantity of nuts and seeds visible, and my goodness they have completely exceeded my expectations. They can literally get through 5 in 2 days. I have finches, Tits, Dunnocks, Wrens and woodpeckers going at them all day long. I completely recommend these to anyone who wants to enjoy watching the birds feed in their garden. The baby birds are quite cute holding their beaks open ready to be fed. They are a good size with way more nutrients and excellent value for money. I'll be back for more over and over again.

Fat balls
Seems great value but they do not hold together very well and crumble very easily. So they do not last very long unlike other fat balls we have used.

Great the birds love them
Great the birds love them. They eat a lot less bird seed as they prefer suet balls. Yes some of the suet balls do get broken in transit, but the broken bits can be put in a bird feeder.
