The media could not be loaded. We read the reviews and went ahead and put a bead of sealer around the light(just in case) and have had ZERO issues. It lights up my 15X42ft Intex above ground pool just fine. The hanger wasn’t flimsy nor does the light try to float up. Stays right up against the pool wall. We added a magnet to the holder for pool steps and it stays right where you put it all night. The remote works great and the button on the back of the light is super convenient when it’s in the pool so we don’t get the remote wet! The shipping was fast. I hesitated on buying at first because of price but after figuring up what I spent on 6 of the 3in “hockey puck” lights, batteries, and magnets last year only to have all but 2 no longer working this was a way better deal. All in all it’s bright, it’s colorful, the kids and adults love it, easy to charge, and battery life is amazing!

First one came as a repack and did not work. Second one came 2 days late. It worked outside of the pool but was missing a part and would not light once in the pool, which defeats the purpose of a POOL light. If we want to use it, we have to unclip it, use the remote to turn it on then put is back under the water. I found not troubleshooting help.

I am writing this review several days after receiving the lights.I looked everywhere for wireless lights for my pool. The Smart Lite LED underwater pool light is exactly what you need if you do not have electricity running to your pool. They’re bright and make night time swimming enjoyable. The colors and modes can be adjusted using the remote which comes with the light. Also included in the packaging are a hanger for your steps with 4 screws, and a return hanger so you can hang the light from your return valve if you wish, and a charging base. I ordered 2 lights for my pool and mounted them using the hangers.My pool is 33 feet across, 4 feet deep and about 26,000 gallons. The 2 lights illuminate my pool a lot better than expected. I have only charged them once since receiving them and turn them on at night for a couple of hours. They remain charged for about 8 hours with full brightness.Suggestions – Make sure you buy some Loctite clear silicone waterproof sealant and run a bead around the perimeter of the light. I did this just in case. Some reviews suggested it after they mentioned water getting into the light housing. So far so good.My only complaint about the lights are that you do have to be within a couple of feet of the light to turn it on with the remote. There is also a power button on the bottom of the light.I give these lights 5 stars and would definitely buy again if needed.

I bought three for a 18x36x8.5 inground. I turned the timer off on the iPhone to get real light output for you to see. I don’t want a lot of light in the pool that equals a skimmer full of bugs. Plainly see the box in the 8.5 ft deep end. Easy to instal. The chargers are great. One on each of my returns, and the third used a screw in the skimmer box. Jus cut the ring off, drill a hole in the holder, take a screw out of the skimmer box and screw on the holder.

I bought two of these last year hoping this would be the nighttime lighting solution for our no built in light inground pool. They worked fine all last summer and through a month this summer. Either the charging bases stopped working or the lights did. Very disappointing considering the price.

The remote does not work unless it is out of water, but other than that it is a good substitute for our pool light that would be 1000 to fix. It does give a small glow to pool. This isn't really meant for large in ground pools, but it really was only thing I could get to work without buying an expensive replacement.

I purchased one to replace my pool light. I tried it out. It worked so good I bought two more. Before the other two came, the first one stopped working and I returned it. They sent me another one and told me to keep the the 1st one. At this point all four of the lights I purchased have stopped working. I can't recommend these and am actually pretty surprised there are so many good reviews. My experience may be unique, but I am so frustrated with these I am not even going to try to return them. They suck and I don't want anymore. Good luck with yours.Another issue I see is that when it is on the charging base, there is not positive indicator that the light is actually charging. The light on the charger stays solid green as long as it's plugged in. It would be good for the light to indicate that the battery is actually charging or not.Additionally, you cannot use the remotes if the light is underwater without getting extremely close to the light. So what could have been a pretty neat solution. Guess I will break down and get my pool light fixed.

Ordered, shipped, and received in 4 days. Charged it for 6hrs. Connected the hanger to my pool return. Lit it up before submerging and learned real quick that it was on the lower end of the brightest settings. After turning it up to full blast we are all pleased that my 12x24 oval pool is now glowing. White and blue color light travel the farthest and illuminate the best for me.My only CON is: The pool hanger is very thin plastic and the light unit is filled with air. When submerged it floats upwards and hovers between the path of my return jet and it's furthest point of play in the plastic hanger. Making me feel all that movement and torque will snap the return hanger. I fixed this w/ a two rubber coated 6oz weights and some fishing line to weigh it down.ps: After the initial full 6hr charge. I turned it on at 9:15pm and brought it inside at 7am to charge. It was still giving off full blue light until 7:30am. Very impressed w/ 10+ hours of battery life straight out of the box!
