Excellent
I bought this originally to make my whipped handcream but when I went to make a cake last week my mixer of 30 years broke and I quickly grabbed this but I had just bought unused and used it and I love it I love it better than the one I’ve been using for 30 years which happened to be from William Sonoma

An improvement over my cheapo 15-year-old Hamilton Beach hand mixer
I suffer from tinnitus, and my condition is exacerbated whenever I'm around excessively loud noises. Since COVID times, I've been doing a lot more baking and cooking at home, and as a result, I've been using my hand mixer more regularly. As a result, I've grown irritated by the loud noise from my old Hamilton Beach hand mixer - to the point that I've both avoided using it, and even grabbed ear protection from the garage on a couple of occasions. So I started a search for a new mixer, but didn't really want to spend the triple-digit prices for one of the units that I'm certain would be a big improvement. I also wasn't sure about how the rubberized for plasticized beaters on some of those units would fare over time. I liked the idea of dough hooks (even though I have a stand mixer I will likely use for those duties). I would have liked if this unit came with two whisks instead of one, but after a fair bit of poking around on Amazon, this one seemed to tick the most boxes of power, low noise, price, and features. It showed up today, and I ran it through some paces to make sure everything was okay, and I found no problems. First off, while I wouldn't exactly call this thing quiet, it's definitely a lot quieter than my old one, which was the most important issue for me. Interestingly, on the lowest setting, I would say this only is only a couple decibels quieter than the old one is on it's lowest setting, but comparing the two both on their high settings - this one dramatically quieter - probably on the order of 20 decibels (just a guess). The packaging doesn't match the branding descriptions on the Amazon page, and this product, the packaging, and manual are adorned with engrish everywhere. Does not leave a nice impression, and I absolutely would not give this thing as a gift - it does not have a nice presentation. That being said, build quality is at least as good as I would expect for an item of the price, and everything is working the way it is supposed to.The Hamilton Beach unit that this replaced was only rated for 125w. This one doesn't give me the impression that it's any more powerful. While power rating and associated UL information was stamped into the plastic of my Hamilton Beach unit, this one does not state anything other than that it is 110v. I have a feeling that the rating on this item's Amazon page is highly exaggerated - though it still feels like it will be up to whatever task would be appropriate for a hand mixer anyway.

Storage a plus
So far I like the weight and ability to handle.Havent used it for heavier mixing yet. The storage is a plus for me. The price reasonable

Disappointed
The media could not be loaded. Was pretty excited about the blender. I don’t mind the low speed seeming like it’s going pretty quick for that speed, but I’m not able to get the beaters off so I will be sending it back.

Great mixer for the price
I was looking for a mixer with dough hooks and this one came up. It was exactly what I was looking for, and even came with a storage container for all the attachments. I made bagels with the dough hooks. The hooks are way different that a dough hook on a stand mixer, but they worked. The only issue I had with them is that they throw small bits of dough everywhere. This can be remedied by using an extra deep mixing bowl. The storage container doesn't snap onto the mixer, the mixer just sits on top of it. If you want to keep everything together, it has to be stored upright.

Worth the money
Overall, this is a really good hand mixer, with a little room for improvement. Definitely the best I’ve experienced in this price range. If you’re going to compare it to stand mixers or $200 hand mixers, the difference will be clear, but if you need something more affordable, this is a solid contender. It’s no louder than most hand mixers, although no quieter either.PROs:1. Powerful mixer with multiple speed options.2. Attachments are well-designed to prevent dough or batter from being drawn up into the machine (seems like it would be a given, but this is how my previous mixer was destroyed). The dough hooks work quite well, and the attachments are easy to clean by hand or in the dishwasher.3. The mixer is flat on the back so that it can be stood on its end if you need to pause to scrape down the bowl, rather than balancing it on your mixing bowl. I never knew how much I wanted this feature until I tried it.4. The storage case doubles as a measuring cup. I personal cannot imagine finding this useful, but if you find yourself short of measuring cups it could come in handy so technically it counts as a “pro”.CONs:1. As other reviews have noted, the speed control has a smooth top and you might need to use a thumbnail to turn the mixer on or change speeds, especially if your hand is wet or you don’t have a lot of hand strength. This hasn’t been a big problem for me, but I could see it being a major drawback for some users.2. The storage case doesn’t snap onto the machine. It’s just fitted as a cradle for you to sit the mixer on top. You can’t just pick the whole thing up by the mixer handle to take it out or put it away; you’d find yourself leaving the case and the attachments behind. You also can’t store it sideways without the risk of everything spilling out when you reach for it. This isn’t exactly a fatal flaw, but I find it hard to excuse because it seems like it would have been so easy to fix. Every other hand mixer I have ever owned had a case that snapped on and off. Maybe this design was necessary to make the case usable as a measuring cup because otherwise there would’ve been a ridge or groove at the rim, but it is an incredibly stupid trade-off.3. If you want to use the case as a measuring cup (and I don’t), you will obviously need to empty it of all the spare attachments. Then, while you wash and dry it, you will have to find a place to store the clean unused attachments and the mixer itself, because you will find yourself without the storage case. Sorry to keep harping on this, but really who buys a hand mixer but decides that having a separate measuring cup would be too much of a luxury?4. The lowest speed isn’t truly “slow”. The mixer takes a second or two to ramp up to speed, so if your mixing bowl is a decent size you shouldn’t be in danger of splattering, or throwing dry ingredients everywhere, but if you have recipes that require really slow mixing, this may not be for you.UPDATE: I see that the manufacturer has now added the option of getting a snap-on case instead of the measuring cup, and that the version with the snap-on case is even less expensive. I only wish this option had been available when I bought mine.UPDATE 2After about 5 months, the outer coating on the beaters has flaked off in a couple of places, causing the beaters to rust whenever we put them through the dishwasher. I’ll need to dig out the manual so I can contact the manufacturer about getting replacement beaters.

Top Mixer 👌

Versatile mixer
This item arrived safe and well packaged. This mixer is fantastic. With several attachments it is very capable around the kitchen! It is able to beat, mix, stir, whisk and even make dough! It seems to have plenty of power to handle any job in the kitchen too. This has 5 speed options, plus a Turbo setting for when you need a little more kick in your mix!The angle of the beaters and handle makes it more comfortable to hold. This packs down into a handy storage box which doubles up as a measuring jug too. This keeps everything handy and in great condition.I highly recommend this product.

Quality hand mixer with storage measuring container
Fab hand mixer , I made some batter mix for pancakes, and a cake mixture for a victoria sandwich. I love the storage box for the attachement tools which doubles up as measuring jug. It was very good value for a quality hand mixer. It looks smart too .My son used it to make some cakes too and my friend is impressed so she may purchase one. It comes with two attachment tools and has 5 speeds so you can adjust the speed to what you are mixing. I recomend this mixer as it good quality at a very reasonable price.
