Nutricost TMG (Trimethylglycine) 750mg, 120 Capsules

I noticed that the new bottle I received was a physically larger bottle, but was the same number of capsules and dose. So, I compared old and new capsules, and the newer capsules are larger. Does that mean the older capsules were not really 750 mg as claimed??? I did notice the new capsules are perhaps less tightly packed, so it is also possible that they have simply changed how the machine packs the capsules, I don't know. I originally bought this brand specifically because it is listed as 750 mg, the largest single-capsule TMG I could find. I had previously purchased another brand that said "1000 mg" but it was misleading, that was for 2 capsules. (I hate vendors do that.) So, the fact that the capsules are now larger just has me wondering if they were not actually 750 mg before. The price per capsule is very inexpensive. It does unfortunately have magnesium stearate, but that is unfortunately common, particularly for lower-cost brands. It is a relatively large capsule, but I don't have trouble swallowing capsules if I take them with food. That works for me.

You can't ask much more from a supplement than to be exactly what it says it is in both dosage, and purity. Nutricost has a reputation for being quality, and at a reasonable price. I see several reviews mentioning how bad this smells, and that it smells like fish. Trimethylglycine (or betaine) in it's pure form, smells like fish. It is natural for it to smell this way. It does not indicate a bad product. Quite the opposite actually. Great quality, great smell. It is exactly what it is supposed to be.

Love TMG. Give me more energy but last batch smelled fishy. I call manufacture and they had no clie if normal. Did not check or call me.

I had ordered this from another company and there was an error in the shipping so I went around on Amazon looking for the same product of a similar value and it turns out that this company is around the same price with 50% more milligram per pill. So the value in pricing is definitely there. Other companies have a liquid in their gel cap this one appears to be a powder if you have a preference but I found personally, no difference between the two in their effectiveness for myself. This worked so good for me I saw it on a podcast and thought for this minimal amount of money I'm going to see if this might help me be more active. This has literally changed my life. When I don't take it I can notice that I'm not doing things around the house and that I don't care that I'm not doing things around the house and then the mess just builds up. I know a lot of people can relate to this. When I take the pill within an hour I can feel the difference in my motivation. This has me wanting to do the laundry do the dishes vacuum the floor start dinner etc. Anyone that can relate to what I'm saying, this is worth a try. I don't think it's going to work for everyone, but 100% I can't imagine not having it in my life. It literally makes me want to get up and do things instead of sitting around and knowing I have things to do and just not caring about that. I've always just chalked that up to some sort of mental problem and I just dealt with it the best that I could. This for me was the find of a lifetime. I'm a woman and I do notice however that after my menstruation cycle I do have a rough two or three days directly after for some reason but I have since learned to just make sure I keep taking the pill and that'll pass in 2 to 3 days.

I received this TMG product about a week ago and have been using it for FIVE days now. I think it incredibly important to let others know what I have experienced. BACKGROUND: I am a super-fit 53-year old female who works out at the gym 4-5x per week lifting heavy weights and doing high cardio workouts. I have very good bloodwork year-to-year, and watch what I eat, avoiding significant sugar intake. In a nutshell, I am very healthy with no health issues at all. FAST FWD TO TODAY: I began taking this TMG supplement five days ago and cannot believe how much more energy I have at the gym! Also, it is incredibly important to note that I have NO ACHES AND PAINS post-workout. I have literally NO ACHES AND PAINS. I have become accustomed to living with aches and pains after working out, but this supplement has eliminated every single one! I have no other words to state, except that I feel like I did when I was 30-years old. Until now, I forgot what it was like to live ache-free. Yes, I do recommend for folks to try this supplement. Also, I feel more alert. I am back in graduate school, so I study quite a bit, and when I do, I feel less tired and more alert when focusing on studies. Overall, I am highly impressed with this TMG supplement. I hope others will read this review and experience the same results I have. Please give it a try.
