This item is great AFTER you realize how it's support to work and how to set it up.... There are a lot of great things about this item that are not clear in the Amazon website listing or in the instructions that come in the box. So when I first got it, I wrote a 1 star review thinking it was defective and and was going to return it. What you need to know is that they auto turn off/on by detecting light, this is great! But for this to happen, you have to click ON on the solar panel and then choose your MODE on the solar panel. After that, you leave them alone. They will automatically turn on when it's dark enough and turn off when it's light enough. So far, the solar charging is working great and I haven't had to use the cord to charge it manually.I wish though that there were more lights on the string. They should have a bulb every foot for so but have a bulb every 3 feet or so. Too wide. Otherwise, great and sturdy so far. Keeping them and cancelled my replacement order.

These lights are GREAT!! The fact that they are solar and you don’t need wired outlets makes them invaluable!! The 3 light colors are from a yellow color to a bright white. They provide the right ambiance for sitting outside on your patio or pergola in the evening. They are not super bright nor are they dim. Each light has a nice eye from which to hang it. Very sturdily made. The solar panel is small enough that it doesn’t overwhelm where you put it. Works for hours! The remote control has every feature you can imagine, from a timer setting, to power output, and to the color of the lights! You can’t go wrong with these lights!

These are definitely so disappointing. I had them for 8 days before I considered returning them. I ordered two sets. One definitely did not work at all. The lights didn’t turn on I left the solar panel out in the sun as recommended and nothing. Next day I charged it with the usb that came with it and nothing either. The other set of lights only stayed on for about two hours. And the panel was out in the sun since the morning 🤦🏻‍♀️. The lights are definitely not worth the price.

Those lights are really bright. The ability to change the color temperature is also nice.But if you want something to stay on during the night, this is not the product for you.Pros:- Really bright- dimmable- can control color temperatureCons:- won't last all night.- even on the lowest brightness it will only last around 6 hours

I bought these to go outside, in the winter in NH, they worked great, I brought them in at night but they lit my path every night!! It was fun to change the colors. I kept the remote in my bag and turned them on at night when I got home from work!!!!

Really easy to install. Like others have stated, you have to wait until it is dark to operate. Several different color and intensity settings. Not super bright but more than enough to light a pathway or under a deck. Stay on from dusk to dawn automatically. The remote works well and can be directed at any of the actual lights to function.

Amazed at the high quality of this product. It's industrial quality for lighting a greenhouse.

We installed these inside a carport we are using primarily as a covered outdoor patio. My husband put the sensor on the outside near the roof line, and the lights are strung through the rafters inside. We first used them on July 3 2021, and have had them on every single night since. We usually turn on the timer late at night for several hours to help drain the battery before it charges the next day. They also provide late night security lights. Even on cloudy days we receive full power. These are excellent lights and are very bright, with two light colors, a bright white, and a warmer yellow (which I prefer). I highly recommend the lights, and we are very happy with them.
