Great for beginners.
Excellent pair of piano guide/practice books for beginners. The books are big, with colourful lessons. The notes are printed clearly and easy to read. Lessons are thoughtfully designed with gradually increasing difficulty that is easy to follow and understand. Come with coloured stickers that are easy to apply and remove.Book 1 starts with notes counting and proper finger placing on the keyboard. Book 2 explains more about fingering and lessons get harder and complicated in the last few pieces.Notes in lessons and stickers are of the same colour scheme meaning it would be easier for beginners to recognize the keys and learn about the notes. These books are available on Amazon for £ 19.95 (at the time of writing).Overall, a useful practical guide to learning piano for beginners.Thank you for reading.

SUITABLE FOR BEGINNERS TO PIANO PLAYING
There is another product just like this one by the same makers on amazon. This is a very informative piano playing guide for beginners to playing. I have been playing for 25 years (almost 30 if you take into account my child keyboard days) and now I can play almost anything.the stickers included are mega useful for finding keys and can be applied to the piano keys. The book itself has finger tabulations and guides to how to play. The exercises are well displayed and ordered to see clear progression. I have tried with my 3 year old but she is not yet mature enough. She will have to wait until she is about 4 something in order to be able to do thi without smacking the keys and not being able to show something. THe minute i do she wants to stop playing. My approach maybe,.But as for the book, I recommend this to beginners who are trying to get their footing into base piano playing. Good quality paper and size to it. It is durable and not so thin unlike some sheet music books.

very easy to follow beginner's book
Very useful for beginners, normally the speed to learn the first two books is quite fast so one order to include two books is a very good idea. it comes with a keyboard card reference and stickers to help you to begin with. All music notes are large and clear with a very detail marks to guide you which finger to use. it is very colourful too which won't bore you. Therw are som practice exercises between each lessons to prepare you for the next phase. I would recommand this for sure.

Piano Books and Keyboard Stickers - way below expectations
A set of two - Book 1 and Book 2 - of piano exercises together with stickers to put onto piano keys.As an adult keyboard learner, I was interested to see what was being produced now for child learners and this was a great disappointment. The books themselves are very nicely printed and bound, they stay open on a music rest on a keyboard, they are clear and easy to see. However, the multitude of colours for the notes is extremely off-putting and actually encourages learners to take eyes from the music and look at the keyboard. This is totally wrong, muscle memory must be built up, the fingers will gradually learn where they are supposed to go based on the eyes looking at the sheet music. Certainly, this can take a long time at the start but that is how we learn - practice and more practice, not checking where each note is.I felt the exercises were far too tedious and offered no stimulus, not even for a completely new player to a keyboard, and the generic songs that were printed at the end of each book were, like the exercises, over-burdened with colour and seeming to encouraging a learning to focus solely on where to put each finger. Learning to play this way would take a long time.Having a history of musical interests, especially with the guitar, I am lucky enough to be able to read music - but that is not a skill, it is something that develops with repetitive practice. And there is nothing in these books that would have encouraged me to repeat exercises over and over again to build muscle memory and build up a knowledge of the notes on the sheet music. The stickers are little more than a gimmick since, especially with music this basic, it is quite easy to work out what key is what note provided middle C is known.Given the price point of this product, I would not recommend it. There are apps available that have a greater variety of learning experiences (and most can be accessed freely), not to mention a wealth of free material online designed to help people learn to play a keyboard. All in all, a disappointment. The colours might appeal to children but the exercises would soon become boring, and I felt there was too much of a sudden jump from single note playing to play chords and with two hands, that would be just too confusing.A good idea, perhaps, but not one that I could endorse.

Very good books for some who never played keyboard
I got a key board on Christmas as a present. I never played keyboard before. I also got some online subscription but thats over and i didnot use that.So this was perfect for me to review. There are keyboard stickers good quality ones. There are two books they are really basic . Book 1 and book 2 and they are very good start for someone who can read english and dont know any music so it is also good for children who can read english. Description is clear there are several nursery rhymes.I love it.

Wow, what a great teaching tool.
I gave up on the piano years ago, but my nine year old daughter wanted a shot at learning how to play. We ended up getting her a keyboard for her birthday, and I re-searched different books to teach her how to play the piano since I was no help. This came up as a recommended teaching tool, we love the simplicity of this book. My daughter has learned so many songs, and has benefited greatly from the stickers being on her keyboard. My husband installed them quickly, and they fit her smaller keyboard. The book is simple to use, and she’s playing a lot of the songs of learning notes at a faster rate.

Colours poor
The concept is brilliant and could make learning so much easier and fun. The stickers do not match the description, which is essential for the learning process, given that the colours are supposed to match the note colours in the book. Red C and orange G are indistinguishable. That is very confusing, especially for kids.
