Arrived at a timely manner also came with hooks in which to hang them . Thankfully we haven't had a chance to use them ( hope we never do) but, the feeling of if there were a fire then I have a safe way to put it out.

Got these for our married children and friends. Gave them his Christmas presents, and everybody seemed thrilled with them because they didn’t have anything like it.

Reach over or around the cooking/grease fire to get to the mounted blanket? What are you thinking?! You are giving bad advice.The blankets are thick and sturdy. I ASSUME they are effective. If cheaper I'd test one, but already have designated spots for each -- kitchen, garage, and each vehicle. I realize there is one anecdotal review of success with a kitchen fire, and that is why I chose this brand/model (Thank you Coe), but I could provide a second. Would buy a smaller one for testing if they came individually AND cheaper (Vendor, there's a potential sale and PR for you. Make me a deal and I'll test and post results. Confident? Would love to test on a typical kitchen skillet grease fire).The hanging hooks are metal, apparently stainless}, and have a large surface area of adhesive. Have not tested mounting on wood or kitchen drywall as we will be remodeling shortly, not needed in the vehicles, and have on drywall mounts (1 screw mount plus original adhesive, (thank you D Montgomery) in the garage. That garage drywall is why I think the hangars are SS as I drilled them for the screws.The pouch has a warning:"WARNING! These make our family feel safer. I would like to have more. One in each bedroom and main room.Right now we have one in the kitchen and one in the basement, in a corner with no window.I also gave one to each of my daughters to put in their home.I hope it will inspire them to buy more and to buy them for gifts.I had everyone watch the videos to understand how to use them.

I got this because we were saying we wanted to get this for a while now. No better time than when you're thinking about it. It makes you feel a bit more secure knowing you have this in your home in case you need it. We had just got rid of our fire extinguishers because they had expired so this made sense to get. Hopefully we will never need it but better safe than sorry...

It’s great that these come with a hook that can be easily hung and a whistle in case of emergency. I hope I never have the need to use them though. Shipping was fast also.

The individual items were heavier than I anticipated, being a very good value. Having the hook to hang it at a perfect location and a whistle to sound the alarm all part of the package makes it very convenient in case of need and emergency. It is a great gift to give to loved ones.
