These bags are well made and are proving to help keep my homemade bread fresher longer. I wrap my loaves with a beeswax wrap and then store in the linen bag. They're also very attractive and not overdone with busy designs - something I really appreciate. I recommend!!

These are good bags for your regular home baker, however, after a couple days the bread will start to dry out using these alone. I’d recommend putting the bread in a ziplock (not sealed) and then inside these OR, put bee wax wrap over the exposed side of the bread before placing it into the bag, I’ve tried both ways. Usually my family consumes our homemade sourdough rather quickly so it’s not much of an issue. The ziplock technique works well for us (we live in the Pacific Northwest USA) so if you’re in a hotter climate that may not work as well for you. We find that this method keeps in just enough moisture that it stays soft but doesn’t mold right away like they would in a sealed plastic bag and the linen bags aid in this by letting the bread breathe but not too much. Also, they’re aesthetically pretty cute.Happy baking! 😀

For those who care, this bag is, "Designed in California" but, "Made in China".Update, this product absolutely does not work, my artesian bread turned rock hard over night. Wish i could return it. Avoid this product.

This was exactly what I hoped for. As I have recently taken up baking bread as a spiritual practice, especially in Lent, this linen bag helps keep my creations fresh without landfill-bound plastic bags or ruining the crust by refrigeration.
