I couldn't put the book down. Alpha was gentle but aggressive. He new he loved and trusted her. Would kill for her.so would the rest of the pack. Five star book.Great read well put together lovedit.

If you like consistent spanking in your books then this is a book for you. Personally I like books with a lot more thought and imagination so could only give it a three star. It was okay for a quick read. Dawn seemed to love the spankings and dominance so I get the concept of it being a repeated thing, just became monotonous for me.

Alpha knows bestDr Dawn Lowe is a stem cell biologists and was taken to be part of government scientific testing black site to run tests on shifters. This was all so new to her but she got a chance to work with Dr Livingston again, When she is taken to where they are keeping the shifters Dr Livingston explains that one of the shifters is very open to talking to her. SO she goes into the cell to see her very first shift. She prepared herself but what she wasn't ready to hear that the reason the shifters were restless was because their Alpha was coming for his beta's and he was also coming for his mate and Omega. Dawn didnt understand until she explained that Dawn was the Omega he was coming for.Kiba The Alpha had been woken from the earth to take back his pack. But it isn't just his beta's he can feel, its the mate he has been waiting for his Omega. A human that is going to change his packs whole outlook. Finally there will be children in the pack, a new start. But first he must call his pack and get them back.The site goes under attack and Dawn knows the Alpha is here to take her and the shifters. Dawn knows in her heart that he wont stop till he gets her and she isn't ready for that so she runs but he finds her. He tells her what he wants and if she doesn't then she will be punished. What would Dawn decide to do??This is a very hot passionate read. The punishments are sever but the connection they have is forever. Its a powerful story of taking back what was not theirs. Story line was good, loved the Alpha! And the hot dirty sex!! If your into alphas, and hit dirty sex this is a good book to read

He is a self aware exhibitionist sadist she is an unaware exhibitionist masochist, a match made in heaven, but I wasn't feeling it. Their chemistry was none existent .Would I recommend it....no.

This book promised so much and had an excellent intro lining up a strong intelligent female lead. Introducing the male lead however is where this book fell down. He in essence beat and then raped her (NO consent was given, quite the opposite so yes that is rape!), then proceeded to humiliate her in front of his pack by having her consistently nude. She was human and not a part of the world he forced her into. They did not know each other and she professes her love for him towards the end, this screams of Stockholm syndrome! Every sexual interaction is about him punishing her.For the record - a Dom/sub relation has rules, consent, mutually agreed limits, research, before and after care - and of course, is not solely about punishment but rather about pleasure and play for both parties.Stories like this give such relationships a bad reputation and unrealistic expectations. Weak and abusive writing.

I liked this story, it was well thought out and executed, however, the ‘’ punishment” meted out was uncomfortable for me.I have no issue with ‘dark books’ and have no triggers, but this book, for me, tried to justify not just ruthless dominance but being submissive and acceptance of brutality.😦

I really enjoyed this alpha / omega story so very much. This was a really interesting twist on the whole shifter lore.

Enjoyable and creative read. I'm glad the author did not limit the depth and breadth of her artistic imagination because some might view it through current cultural definitions of "female power". The character was an extremely accomplished and powerful woman. The reader should not expect this to be a biography or documentary. It is a work of fiction and fantasy and allows the reader to suspend disbelief for a couple of hours and travel along with the author on a journey of an intriguing world. The true power of the human mind is to explore wonder beyond social norms without necessarily engaging in them... although, some would say a woman's true power is to follow her own bliss without fear of judgment. This book is exactly as advertised. If you depend heavily on "realistic portrayals" based on current society for enjoyment then read something else. The author should not have to limit herself or artistic expression because the reader had expectations of reality as detailed in some reviews.

The government has taken Dr. Dawn Lowe to a black site to learn about the American government’s secret department investigating paranormal activity. Very quickly the subjects inform her the alpha is coming to save them and she’s the omega. Let’s just say when he gets ahold of Dawn she is thoroughly punished and no longer allowed to wear clothes. Lots of spicy and a bit of a plot. Standalone with both characters points of view and a happy ending.

Kiba and Dawn's story is rife with action, danger, punishments, humiliation, shifters, scorching sex scenes, government agencies, secrets, prophecies fulfilled and new beginnings.
