Flaring made easy.
For years I have had trouble flaring brake/clutch pipes. This kit works really well and after a couple of test runs I can make really good flares.

Good starter set - However... one piece broke on use (New Edit)
[EDIT] I should have posted this some time ago. The company reached out to me within 2 days and sent me a new set, and a label to return the original. The new set worked perfectly. Upgraded to 5 stars. Very happy with this company.I purchased the "4LIFETIMELINES Economy Brake Line Flare Kit for Single, Double (SAE) Flares & Bubble (ISO) Flares - 2 Flaring Bars, 9 Flaring Dies, Tubing Reamer, & Storage Case" Just the other day. I have made 6 bubble flares with it using 4LifeTimeLines 3/8" steel tubing.As I completed the 6th flare, when backing out, the die threaded portion snapped off in the yoke making both pieces unusable. It is next to impossible to contact the company. the '800' number takes a message at some other number and you have to find all information on their website.I have sent an email to the company and am waiting for a response and remedy to this situation. Will update as this progresses... and change ratings and comments as needed.

Good tool for the money.
The directions are easy to understand for the double flare, but lack clarification for the bubble flare. This does leave some tooling marks on the side of the line but nothing some emery cloth doesn’t take right off. If you have never used a style tool like this, practice religiously till you get it perfect. It won’t take but a couple try’s to see what works with certain material and you’ll be on your way.

Worked great for making the double bubble flares that I needed.

Works well on Metric and US/SAE brake line tubing
Makes nice Metric "bubble" and SAE double flare (inverted flare) ends for brake lines. Two line holders grip all size tubes very right, make it easy to flare the ends on copper, copper/nickel and mile steel brake line tubing. Confident it will work for all normal sizes of metal tubing for brakes and other hydraulic and liquid lines. It helps to apply some silicone grease to the threads and tube-shaping fittings to limit binding and make flaring easier. Well worth the price.

Good tool for the money but not quite professional.
Good beginner tool but I ended up buying a better one for 3/16” size overall. One of the 3/16” dyes broke off after flaring 7 or 8 brake lines and got stock inside.. The larger dyes look solid but not quite a professional tool overall. This is better than your standard $20-$40 tool kits.

No support after sale. Pieces broken already.
The first flare die I used on some very soft copper tubing broke before I was able to get full compression on the end. I reached out to support and have received no answer still after months of waiting. Next time I'll spend the extra money on a higher quality kit with better customer service.

Great kit. Learn how to use this tool properly by watching videos online and then trying out a few different flares on a bench before going under a vehicle with this. I use this in a professional setting and it holding up so far, but be careful with the dies. Any tool can break, you have to know how to use it properly.
