Perfection!
I'm not the kind of person that believes coconut oil cures everything or that it should be used all over your body & hair (it shouldn't, the molecule is too large to penetrate skin & it WILL laminate your hair for a long time when used in a mask haha), that said... It really does have a ton of uses!Oil pulling, baking, cooking, fat fasting, constipation (be careful with this one haha), breast milk production (lauric acid), morning sickness relief (from experience), gentle makeup removal, oil washing, skin protection, light frizz control (only in humid conditions or when hair is already soaked & used sparingly)...Yes, coconut oil IS a saturated fat, so I wouldn't say that it should replace your olive oil or avocado oil, but it's pretty fantastic & this brand in particular makes all of that even more possible with how high quality it is! It tastes amazing & I've never had it cause breakouts or a reaction & I have many skin allergies. As a hapa woman that was fed raw coconut from an early age & taught to essentially worship it, I know that I am biased, but if you really crave that authentic flavor more than anything... This is the brand. I've tried many others, nothing can compare!

Beauty-ful product
I bought this for my skin and hair; but did use it for cooking also one time. Personally, I do not like the taste of coconut oil in my food; but if you do.... I use this coconut oil as a beauty product for my hands, skin and hair and it is wonderful. Better than the coconut oil that I bought in the supermarket. For my hair, it is top-rate! My hair was very dry and brittle to the touch from using henna, and I hurriedly bought many hair conditioners and also this coconut oil at the same time. I first tried the hair conditioners, and although they were expensive, they did not work well. Initially they worked for a day, but my hair reverted back to its former dry condition. And then.....I tried this coconut oil, leaving it in my hair for about two hours. The down side is it is messy, and the oil drips onto your neck and clothing, so be sure to wear something appropriate. I washed my hair (2 times needed), and my hair is so soft and silky and it's been this way for over a day. I don't think it will be reverting back to its dry condition. So for the hair, it is excellent. For the skin, it is superb, goes on silky and smooth and your skin will be that way. FYI-- if you leave the bottle out of the refrigerator, it is liquid; so you may want to refrigerate it and take it out about an hour before you use it or you can put it on your skin when it is cold; and this feels good. This oil is the only beauty product you need as your hair conditioner and skin. I'm sorry I previously wasted my money on other beauty products that did not work as well as this coconut oil. I am pleased with it.

ACNE BE-GONE!
I apply this topically to my face as a moisturizer and occasional cleanser. I used to have severe acne. Using this oil as a moisturizer is one of many steps I've taken that helps. (I also take the Kelapo Extra Virgin Coconut Oil pills internally.) I used to have a homemade oil blend that I would use as a moisturizer and cleanser, in conjunction with this product, but then I realized that this product on its own was sufficient. After some time applying this product to my whole face, I began applying it to my whole body. It is perfect for razor bumps.Everything you've heard about oil-free moisturizers is a lie. I've used this product for three years now and it is the only thing I will put on my face. How did I start putting oil on my face after years of "oil-free" face wash commercials? I got to the point where my acne was so bad, I was willing to try anything because I figured "it can't get any worse!"...and clearly, "oil-free" wasn't working. As I used this product, even though I still had pimples, I would get compliments on my complexion. Even with pimples, people would say my skin was glowing. Then, the pimples started to disappear. Dietary changes are a must as well. But this product will satisfy the topical component of your skin-care regimen. This product can also be used for cooking. It makes for some delicious, healthy french fries. To use as a cleanser: apply to face, rub it in thoroughly, then lightly splash off with warm water. Lightly, pat the face dry with a clean towel. Do not rub. Then re-apply the oil as a moisturizer.I hope everyone who uses this product for acne has as much success as I did. After seven years of acne...I love my face!

Very nice!!!!!
Pros: - great tasting and smelling, very sweet - perfect consistency, not too hard like some I've tried yet hard enough to stay solid - price per oz. great value for fair trade organic coconut oil - if it is too firm, rubbing it between your hands almost immediately turns it into liquid oilCons: - no real cons, the lid broke the night we opened it up, just tipped over on the counter and shattered. Not sure why but I can't take any stars away for this since it was an accident and a minor deal. This is cold pressed UNREFINED oil. In my opinion this does not make the best cooking oil since it can only tolerate low heat before scorching and smoking. You will not like the taste of burnt coconut oil. This is the best type of coconut oil for eating raw if you're into that, sometimes we will have a small spoonful plain. We also love the unrefined cold pressed oil for our family's skin, this is what we use on the kids after baths. It feels great and since it is unrefined it has a very pleasant coconut odor. Refined coconut oil doesn't really smell much like coconuts and can tend to have almost a sort of chemical smell so we prefer to use that solely for cooking.
