Brilliant
This book is brilliant. It's annoying 2 reviewers have knocked stars off because one didn't read the description of the book and another mentions not giving quinoa before 2 which is completely untrue! I feel it's unfair on the book to take stars off because you've not done your research, eg a quick Google.Anyway, the book is brilliant and really reassuring. So much information and simple tweaks such as adding vit c foods with iron rich foods for max absorption. Very informative but still easy reading without being overbearing. Fascinating stuff!

A must have for all plant-based parents
This is an absolute must have not only for parents who raise their kids on a plant based diet but also for parents who care about the health of their kids. It packed with facts & information about childrens’ nutrition. It has some wonderful and easy recipes too. I am so grateful that a book like this exists!

Love this book!!
I have been waiting for ages for a book like this to be released. The information is excellent. Can't wait to try some of the recipes! A must have for any plant based families, or for anyone who is thinking about a plant based lifestyle for their children but is intimidated or afraid. The authors are dieticians but also mums!

This is a nutrition course in a book
I gave this 4 stars cause it's very high quality but it's not necessarily a recipe book (which I hoped it would be) I does have a nice few recipes but it's more of a nutrition learning book so just bare that in mind. It's still super interesting though but again not a dedicated recipe book which was my mistake

Incredible.
such an amazing book, as someone who wants to raise my children plant based some day, I wanted to educate myself a LOT before I did so and this book has been PERFECT for that! so grateful to live in a time when resources like this are available. Really informative and easy to read
Great book, loads of information but easy to digest. The layout and format makes it easy to read, and my family and I have learnt a lot from dibbing in and out of this book.

Amazing resource
This book is an incredible resource - I bought it because of the excerpt where the authors relayed misconceptions doctors may have about plant-based diets for children as I wanted to arm myself with information. I am so lucky I decided to purchase this - it talks in great detail about nutrient needs and how to meet them at each stage of your baby’s development, and even talks later about the psychology of how to raise an adventurous eater. It does have recipes at the end but they feel like a bonus - the technical information the book outlines is gold and provides much-needed guidance to parents trying to figure out how to feed a plant-based child. 10000% recommend!!

GET THIS BOOK!!!
I can’t get o er how good this book is- it far surpassed my expectations.As a desperate mama of a picky 2.5 year old and *slightly* less picky 1.5 year old, I needed HELP with healthy plant based food ideas as I have just transitioned myself to plant-based diet a few months ago; I’m a newbie! It’s time to get my toddlers in a healthier place now too. This book is incredible. It provides so much information on how to build a healthy plate, includes research and makes me feel so much better because I honestly do not have the time (or desire) to become a registered dietician myself right now. This book includes everything you need to know (probably way more than you need to know, but there’s great callouts that highlight the important parts, and I love that I have it as a reference book to go back to if I have questions on anything in particular). The use of pictures/visual inspiration and plate examples, easy to read reference charts, and beautifully photographed recipes are perfectly presented. I don’t know how to say this, but, I also really loved the overall tone of the book too. It doesn’t come across demeaning or judgmental to make you feel like crap for feeding your kids less-than-ideal options. It’s very positive and helpful.I NEVER write reviews, especially for books, but this book is so helpful I could just cry in gratitude. Thank you thank you 🙌 I feel so much more confident and well-equipped to feed my sweet babes to set them up for a positive long term health trajectory, and that just means the world to me. So very grateful. BUY THIS BOOK!!! ❤️

Recipes don't work
I really wanted to like this book as being a plant-based mum I wanted to offer my little one lots of yummy, healthy treats. I made a few recipes from the book now and somehow they never came out as expected. I just took the veggie omelette cups out of the oven and they are just a disappointment. I also had to add much more water as I could not process the mixture with my Vitamix to become smooth.I also tried the BLW banana pancakes which also didn't work. One point to know is that they use quinoa in some of their recipes - I read in another book that quinoa should not be given to babies younger than 2 years.I really like the nutrition section and the style of the book - so 3 stars in total.

Perfect
Absolutely living for the recipes in this book. It’s also so good they go over which nutrients and in what amounts they require At each age.It’s good they tell you that you will require supplements for plant based babies and don’t pretend that they won’t need them.Lovely the recipes have “family” alterations so adults & older kids can eat and enjoy the meals as well. Very happy I bought this one.
