Petsafe Staywell Manual 4-Way Locking Classic Cat Flap White, Tunnel included (917EF)

Excellent pet doors.This time I bought the whole door even though only the 'flap' part of my existing cat flap (the exact same model) appeared damaged. This damage happened during a very nasty cat fight - strays trying to get in whilst being stopped by my 7kg 'big' cat!! (Unfortunately this happens quite a bit!) The door is around 4 years old and has survived many such 'intrusions' and has only just succumbed. This indicates just how robust these doors are.As the flap was out of the frame I wasn't sure if there was damage to the frame too. The instructions provided, showing how to fit the door, very handily show you how to just replace the flap if that has broken - and on this occasion it was just the flap that was damaged. To replace the flap was far simpler than I imagined - and it also gave product code details to just reorder the flap on it's own.Shortly I will be requiring a whole new cat flap so the main unit will not go to waste but it just goes to show how well made these cat flaps are; - that they could withstand constant use for around 4 years (from very big cats!) then receive such a battering and still function. In the past I have always bought PetSafe/Staywell catflaps and will continue to do so. Excellent product. Really very happy with these pet doors.

Cat smashed the door in half. Design has a weak point on the inside that clips the door in to the frame. I've ordered a replacement but I'm sure these could be designed better.

The door to our original cat flap was cracked and broken.Looked everywhere for an exact replacement catflap and could only find a “magnetic” version that was similar. I don’t want a collar on the cat so this wasn’t an option.Although I would’ve preferred a whole new replacement cat flap I wasn’t confident I could cut a new shaped hole so a replacement door seemed the best option.It’s a perfect replica of the original door so fits great. The instructions are clear and actually it’s very simple to fit.I dropped one star because of the price . £10+ is way too much for what it is - essentially a small piece of plastic

Tiene el mismo diseño que la original, parece auténtica, o sea ligeramente frágil si tus mascotas son un poco brutas, mis gatos ya se han acostumbrado a pasar, pero prefiero no bloquear el paso, porque si insisten en pasar acaban por romper la puerta. Compré una de repuesto por si acaso.
