Strong and easy to work with
Use this along with multiple layers of flex seal to repair two cracks in the water tanks on my boat. This was a great alternative to Welding and I think a more reliable result.

The quality of the Resin is Excellent
As I said in the title, the Quality of the Resin is superior, I have been able to use other Resins from other manufacturers before, 3 to be exact, and it is more difficult to work with them, both because of the drying times and the fact that many bubbles were trapped under The Resin, despite being careful when mixing it so that it does not fill with air, on the other hand, the Venom Carbon Resin was easy to work with, as it was less thick it was easier to eliminate the bubbles that remained and a few that I could not eliminate with the heat gun were eliminated by themselves when I returned to check the already cured piece, this Kit is incredible, I will surely buy it again in the future, I recommend it, in my case it was to do a Skinning job, I tried to give a forged finish with the Carbon fiber and traditional Twill, the entire experience was excellent, I recommend this product just make sure you follow the manufacturer's instructions to the letter

good instructions on mixing, nothing on how to lay the fiber
microscopic instructions on how to mix the resin, but nothing at all about laying out the carbon fiber. The weave is quite large so any small cracks or holes will not get an even lay up, as you cut the fiber it just falls apart within 1/4 of an inch from the edges. I had a 3mm hole to cover and everything just came apart. I was able to get enough to cover the hole with maybe 3 or 4 fibers. I will have to wait now to see how it hardens. Do not estimate the mixing, be sure and get it exact, I just used 2 capfuls of resin and 1 capful of hardener, being that the resin is much thicker it still might be off, better to do it by weight if you have a good scale.

as my first carbon fiber wrapping experience, love it
never before have I carbon fiber wrapped anything, but I can see I'll be doing it more ofteb now. I wrapped a 3d printed object with this carbon fiber, after learning a few tricks, like spraying with spray adhesive before handling, helps keep the cloth together nicely. then I learned I can cut it with my 40watt laser cutter, that was the biggest game changer. I ended up spray adhesive my pieces to my object then wet them down real good and that resulted in my best looking work. since I didn't have peelply or vacuum set-up, I wrapped each part in saran wrap then tightly wound electric tape around that, giving me a nice tight fit. after some sanding apon unwrapping it came out very nice and smooth. I can't quite put a picture up to show it off because it's a customer's product and it's yet to have a patent, but I will be using this kit again in the future and quite often I'd expect, after seeing how easy it is to do. oh and it's definitely strong, very strong for the single layer wrap i did, I didn't expect that much strength in a single layer. this can add strength to many 3D printed projects, I wish I had tried this years ago.

EASY TO USE
The media could not be loaded. Decided I wanted to make my dogs boot brace stronger since he chewed up his last one being just a plastic. Came out good for my first attempt ever and some videos. The carbon fiber sheet is nice and the epoxy drys quick. Best part is the edges are all stitched up so when you pull It out it’s not falling apart on you.

Great Carbon Kit
The kit is great, wish the carbon had sort of weave lock. It can easily distort if you are not careful. This is my second project and have made a few mistakes nothing on the kit more the user. The epoxy is easy to use, do t forgot I measure your amounts get a digital scale.

Maybe a bad bottle
Never used. Resin is hard as a rock in original bottle.
