The item is so hard to try to bent it around the tv. I had to be very careful when trying to do the corners of the tv sense it’s suppose to go around the back of the tv. It also doesn’t stick very well even after cleaning the back of the tv and letting it dry. The remote control also sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t. So I just use the app from my phone to turn it on and switch colors. I like that you can set a timer from the app on the phone. The brightness is also good. Like I said it’s a decent item!

The media could not be loaded.  Cleaned the back of the TV with rubbing alcohol and the adhesive worked great. The remotes on all of these units are mediocre, but I use the phone app with no issues. The microphone picks up music easily amd responds to the dynamics in the song. Very happy with the install and performance.

Even after looking at a bunch of images with customers using these, I felt it was something that college kids would put in their dorm rooms, but ultimately a cheesy concept. Then I got one for myself and I have to admit that it's actually helpful.I have an 86" LG LED TV and I probably had about 2' leftover, so the description was accurate. What prompted me to actually buy this were the black levels (or lack-there-of) on my TV - the darkest blacks are still very gray. It's in a room that can get very dark, and when the scenes on TV are supposed to be black, the TV's weakness is very obvious and quite distracting. My solutions were to either turn on the ceiling lights resulting in a slight glare on the screen, or mounting these LEDs.The attached picture is of the LED's at their max brightness in a black room - certainly not something I would do during normal use, but it's worth noting that they get very bright. Even when they're dimmed down, it helps make the horrible black levels on my TV far less obviously since the wall behind the TV is no longer pitch black. The LEDs are not distracting like I thought they would be, either. I would say it also helps with eye fatigue when watching at night since scene-transitions from light-to-dark seem less harsh. Once you get over their initial novelty, they truly are useful. For $42, I would absolutely recommend them. The only downfall is that they must be plugged into a wall outlet since a USB port can't power a strip this long. Not a huge deal, just need to use the remote to turn them on/off - and the remote works well enough.

I took away one star because not all of the colors work (orange is one that doesn’t work and I really wanted that for watching horror movies and the red is more bright dark-pink red than deep blood red, which I prefer and had on my old light strip) but at least half of them do and I really enjoy those colors. It’s super easy to install with the adhesive strip that’s on the product. The colors are vibrant and cut down on eye strain; I enjoy the ambience the colors add. I also reinforced the adhesive with some Gorilla tape in a few places just to be sure. It doesn’t cut on and off with the tv (which my last accent lighting strip on my old tv did) and I wish this did, too. And, oddly, about half the time when I do use this and cut off my tv the tv will turn itself back on a minute or 2 afterward. It didn’t do this before I’d installed the light strip and it doesn’t do it when I haven’t turned on the light strip. It’s a little disconcerting to get into bed then hear the tv cut on in the living room. I’m not sure if I’d buy this one again but since I have it already installed I’ll keep using it and am happy with what I get from it.

Just got a new 75" Samsung TV and there was a few inches to trim after I installed the light kit. Very easy to install and the remote works great. Light plugs into the USB port on the back of the TV for power and turns on automatically when you turn on the TV. No more distracting lights in the background as we watch a movie at night.

The best part about these have to be how BRIGHT they are. Amazingly bright. Covers the surrounding area no problem. Installation was quite easy and didn't take more than 10 mins for a mounted 85 inch tv. They boast about the easy turns, but it didn't work very well for me, but the adhesive was perfect strength and made fixing and setting easy as cake. Will have to wait a few weeks to see how well it stays as the back of the QLED Samsung TVs are not flat so we will see. Remote Control is cool, quick and senses commands with the receiver hidden behind the TV which is amazing. Only issue I see is the fade is really choppy. Instead of being a smooth transition from color to color as most LEDs are, it's a little too choppy for my taste and I might have to stick with solids. It could be just because it is so long that it is incapable of being smooth? But I don't know. All in all, I am satisfied with my purchase so far and will update if anything changes in the near future.

My initial purchase was partially faulty, where only some of the colours worked consistently.The support I received from Sari was excellent, the communication and follow-up was swift and helpful.A refund or replacement was offered without hesitation.The replacement has been in use daily since, and we could not imagine going back to watching night-time television without it. The image quality seems better and our eye fatigue has definitely decreased.The length was perfect for my 75 inch TV leaving plenty spare.I did not use the supplied backing tape for adhesion on either occasion, deciding instead to use individual strip light mounting bracket clips which I purchased separately.I also do not use the supplied remote, instead using the Lotus Lantern app on my iPhone which works great.The brightness and colour selections are endless, however plain white seems not to be as bright or vivid as the other colours. Nevertheless, it is good enough and is usually our go to bias lighting colour.Very satisfied with our purchase, thanks.

Good price, easy install, the white could be brighter not actually sure if it is 6400k daylight or not? But the colour effects are cool and work well with music and action movies with the inbuilt mic or phone mic. Helps relieve eye strain and that's the main reason i got this.

Perfect - exactly as described with loads of features. I have this on the back of my PC monitor and is perfect for some subtle lighting to brighten up a dark corner in my office. Easy to install, was up and running in moments. Colour, brightness and effects all work well and offers more than expected. Love that it has both a remote control and also can run via an app.
