Researched and this particular brand/item was noted to be number 1 for theft prevention. I purchased the blue one, its bulky, heavy-duty, made well and seems to work perfect. Just needs some getting used to as never used one in the past. Hoping it deters thefts.

I was keeping my fingers crossed when I ordered this for my 2020 Toyota Highlander, that it would fit. It did. I Have not used it yet, other than making sure it fit and locked well, which it does. I like the velcro strap to keep it contained when not in use; and I like the pointed tip for breaking the window if trapped inside in case of an emergency. I do realize that the protective cap for the tip really SHOULD be on when putting the device onto the steering wheel, because the windshield is CLOSE and if that tip should barely touch that glass...it will crack. (I cracked mine once with a small rearview mirror decorative charm that was not sharp at all...it barely tapped the windshield, and I had to replace the windshield.) The weight of the locking device is heavy which I assume means it's sturdy.

I have 4 of them. They work great. NoRusting or jamming. They don’t scratch the steering wheel either. Solid construction.
