Versatile, works great!
Full control of output voltage and current. Still works flawless since Nov./2021. Monitor and adjust via BT. I run this charger at 12 amps from 12 volt system(via 300W inverter) in a Chevy Bolt, to a 280Ah LiFePO4. When traveling use in power supply mode set at 13.6 Volts, this allows heavier loads, 500W heater, small 600W kettle, etc., from the 280Ah. Have left it on like this for days and the batt. bought in 2019 is still like new. %80? Also have a Custom charger setup for the LiFePO4, Absorption 13.8 V Float 13.4 V Storage 13.2V The battery naturally rests around 13.5V, so Float doesn't come into play unless a discharge.

Superior in many respects!
Rock solid build, yes you will have to buy some wire, alligator clip connectors to connect to your battery which is not a big deal if you are someone who likes to tinker with stuff. This charger uses a different algorithm to monitor, charge a variety of battery types, it will also recover deeply discharged batteries, something that my battery Tender or Noco charger failed to do. A 5 year warranty makes this a no Brainerd, has some heft too!

Well designed, versatile, networking charger-power supply
A well designed charger which can also act as a power supply. Controllable through Bluetooth comms. Can be networked with other Victron products. Charges lead acid, gel and Lithium ion batteries. Ccomputer/cell phone configuration app.

Works fine.
Keeps the battery charged in standby condition. Did see a little noise when switching between modes with my scope.

Not just for car batteries
Very versatile with various charging modes and battery types. Is not just for car batteries and will service lithium ion batteries to full charge.

Of course it works great
Well it's Victron and of course works great to charge lifepo4 batteries in my motorhome.

Seems to depart from typical Victron performance quality.
I have the 20 Amp version of this charger that I use primarily for charging my 12 Volt, 100 Ahr LiFeP04 batteries, and have encountered two issues with this unit. First, When the unit transitions from Bulk to Absorption (that I typically set at 14.20V), the transition from the constant current Bulk phase to the constant voltage Absorption phase it not abrupt, but rather goes through several minutes of voltage oscillation, some of the peaks exceeding 15 Volts before the voltage stabilizes. Secondly, if the unit is set to its rated current of 20 Amps for a 5-hour recharge of my LiFeP04 battery, the unit gets very hot, much hotter than I think electronics should without degradation. I have measured the case temperature in areas exceeding 50 degrees C, this in an air-conditioned environment. An inspection of the unit revealed that it has only a tiny fan embedded in it, tie-wrapped to the display board and blowing on the transformer. While the end cap on the case is made to accommodate a 40mm cooling fan that would draw air through the unit, none is provided. Surely, many components in the unit must be operating at the limit of their temperature rating. I can't understand why a fan costing at most a dollar or two was omitted. Lastly, the manual for the unit was clearly written for lead-acid batteries, with various short (added?), and confusing references to LiFeP04 batteries. It would be nice to update the manual to properly include a technology that has replaced lead-acid. I have, and use, several Victron devices in my home solar system, and overall, the quality is excellent. Accordingly, I was very surprised to see the issues with this unit and felt that it warranted only 3-stars.

Victron has always performed flawlessly
I have Never been disappointed by VIctron gear. and this is no exception. internal fan keeps it cool. The 30 amp model is Still warm to the touch when running at full 30 amps. and the IP22 is Highly programmable. I do wish the lower amp setting on the 30 amp model was less than 7.5 so it could be a better "trickle" charger as well. and that is the main reason I bought tis 15 amp model also for the lower low end setting.... but Victron has always performed flawlessly.

You can determines what amperage you can charge the battery between 0 to 15 amp. Also when an mppt controller is connected to the battery to supply the amperage required to maintain the battery full charge is added to the one supplied by the charger. I wish the charger could be timer dependant to allow the solar panel to charge the battery during the day saving electricity coming from the charger.

I charge lipo batteries for my marketing department to power RV Trailers all day for photos. I've gone through about 7 different chargers and all of them have either died or killed the battery BMS. The Victron has outperformed all of them by far. Zero issues and no fan noise. Plus, I can monitor the health of the battery with the built in Bluetooth. Highly recommend.

This is a great charger! I bought it to replace the charge/converter in my trailer. Nice having user defined settings for my lithium battery. Settings are set exactly to battery manufactures requirements.
