Amazing used several of these in our caravan to either replace throw away batteries, or to add extra USB power sockets, gives a stable 5 volts.

It works well as a way of adding additional current capacity to a data USB connection. Ideal for in car use such as with Android screens and other audio systems which provide a USB connection for a phone but insufficient power to charge the phone at the same time. For this it is good but a few more mA of power wouldnt go amiss - it provides enough power to stop the phone battery rapidly discharging whilst connected but not quite enough to fast charge the phone.

Used it to split power from 12power brick to led strips and using this unit to ESP32 Board with WLED. Works fine. Gets warm to touch.

Hardwired my TomTom satnav into my MG Midget. Couple of solder joints and a line fuse and bingo..! Excellent value for mono.

It didnt quite give the full 6v from a 12v battery, more like 5v.

I have a program of upgrading variable buck converters to these which 'feel' more reliable

Used this as a phone charger, it works great but really don't believe the 3 amp rating. It charges pretty slow but it works for what I needed.

Bought many of these over the years, always work great. Seem well made, easy to connect, never had a problem.

Most of the time I purge the ones on here that have multiple usb and usb-c but sometimes I just want to run wires to light LEDs and this is great for that.

Does what it’s meant to do. Have had it running non stop for a few weeks now hasn’t had issues.
