Update! They QUIT!I purchased these lights for our outdoor patio fire pit area that we finally just finished.The lights worked initially; we turned them on a total of three times for probably ten minutes total over the winter, however, now, on Memorial Day weekend, when we want to actually use them for an entire evening, they stopped working.Upon inspection, the transformer is not supplying the 24 volts DC needed to run the lights.As you are aware, these lights are not cheap. I paid extra for the heavy duty, outdoor version, and I am extremely disappointed that they malfunctioned when we’re having guests over to kick off the summer season.So far, so good. These lights have been out by the fire pit all winter in the rain, etc. Turned them on to test for the first time this weekend and they work perfect. As time goes on, I will update this review if anything changes.

The app is seamless, the install is easy and the result definitely transforms the look of whatever you’ve got it on, it comes with 3m backing tape and a bunch of clips, I’ve heard mixed reviews on how well it sticks but there are a lot of factors in install that affect that, free of dirt and moisture it works wonderful, I’ve never had them blink and the lengths are very convenient, it definitely adds a level of ambiance to the house, will definitely be adding more in the future!!

Taped with provided tape to inside around gazebo. Beautiful and bright but can be dimmed. Remote from phone. Endless color combos. Every holiday or party. Fun and practical.

These lights work great, the app works great, literally couldn’t complain about the lights. The sticky tape thing isn’t great and several parts have had to be “repaired”, but that’s solvable!

This item has been amazing. Had a long time and has stayed up on my porch with no sagging is issues since purchased in 2022. Only downfall is I have OCD one one led light is now a different color than the others. Some color changes make it so you do not notice but the one led is very noticeable as it is an entire different color at times pending color schemes making it a killer for me. It is very durable, reliable and 2 years is a good run. Shame the one bad pixel has made me insane and does not justify cost of an entire set. Will be sticking to the brand though as they make great stuff and all my other items of this brand work great. If you are questioning going with another brand, my recommendation would be to give this one a try. I feel you would be impressed with quality and features using the app. Installation was also super easy as it is a peel and stick. Just be 100% sure you take time to clean your surface before applying. That will be what determines if you have issues with them sagging, falling, etc. Happy led lighting.

Love these lights, the control you have us so much fun. App control, many colors and patterns, can get people's creations or do your own. Waterproof, cheap to operate, we use them for night illumination of rooms, around my pool.... expensive but worth it

Garbage! Had these for a over a year (used them for two xmas) and they all of a sudden stopped working. I thought I just had to hard reset them and reconnect but every timed I tried, it would freeze after 10 secs. I then contact GoVee and after sending some videos on what happen, they said they need to be replaced due to weathering or electrical issues. And no warranty as it passed a year! And it wasn't just one light, it was a total of three lights (Two outside lights and a indoor light curtain) that stopped working! My cheap xmas lights at Walmart lasted longer. Not worth the money for just about a year of usage.Govee tried to offer a discount if I buy it again but thats not satisfactory as I have to spend more money. Stay clear away from Govee lights as their quality is shotty.

Love these lights strips! Great price and good quality, what more do you need. Have ordered several sets now and happy with them all.
