He has Beta Thalassemia Minor with is a rare genetic condition that affects the red blood cells. The only way to treat the disorder is with higher levels of folic acid. The Pink Stork Liquid Folate is perfect. I give him half a dropper full (400mcg), and he takes it with ease as there is no flavor to this supplement. I'm also very pleased that both the bottle and the dropper is glass. I don't have to worry about any leaching of plastic into the supplement while it sits, since it will last my son several months.
